Debating between a 3/2 leveling kit or just a 2" Front lift. The 3/2 kits come with a differential drop piece. While the 2" doesnt. Does anyone know if doing a 2" Front leveling lift needs a differential drop installation. I know these types of lifts affect cv angles on 4x4s but is it necessary being that my rig is 2WD.

If your truck is 2WD, you have no front differential to drop....

I simple google search is your friend.
You can find multiple postings on this topic, by searching "Tundra Differential Drop" Many of them come from right here :) Mdavis is correct. Differential drops are suppose to help relieve the stress, from additional CV angle on the front drive line. You have none.

I'm thinking about getting the Zone diff drop kit or maybe going to ACE and see what I can dig up. Not much to it. I have the 3" spacer lift and as far as I can see there is no diff drop. (Was already on my truck when I got it) May not be necessary but should do it anyways to restore CV position as close to factory as possible.

Thinking the same thing. No need for 2WD. Nothing to drop.
