The Dallas one used to have a bigger showroom when it was off I-35. They moved back to their original smaller store, though, and their showroom is much smaller. I’m guessing they’re suffering from the same online competition most other brick and mortar retailers are suffering from.

Yeah they sell everything at full retail so I would never go to purchase anything. lol
It does help sometimes to see certain things in person though.

I recently purchased my AR running boards and override switch from 4WP here in Coppell and I wasn't too impressed with them. I thought I could get no tax and free installation but only got the no tax.

Honestly, I'm probably giving a biased opinion because I was recommended them from one of you guys on here and when I mentioned them to a friend of mine, he said he knew one of the salesmen due to being a family friend. Told me to ask for the guy and mention his name. Went in doing just that and turns out the guy was the office manager there and doesn't really deal with unknown walk-ins due to being busy. I wasn't aware of that and just wanted to speak to someone I could trust on purchasing parts. I got one of the floor employees and I guess I got turned off when they kept giving reasons as to why the recommended guy wouldn't give me time of day and they suggested if one of them could help me. I reluctantly agreed after waiting for a bit and just bought my boards and left. Didn't feel that I got a knowledgeable salesman as he didn't know which boards I was talking about initially until I gave him the part number. To his credit, not many people run the AR Extreme boards.

Same experience with the 4WP here in OKC. Nobody seemed very knowledgeable. They just wanted to sell me shit.

Can't really recommend who other than based on Yelp reviews. I plan to do that this week but I am getting both undercoating(yes, I know I don't need it) and the LineX at LineX Custom Trucks off Mockingbird. No other place does both and for the price, I save about $100. I've done all the research and each LineX is the same qualifications. If it goes bad, you can take it to another place for replacement free as the original installer will have to forfeit the cost to have it done or so I read in the warranty. Good Luck.

Mansfield is a growing area right now. Then again everything in DFW is. Enjoy your meeting and start house shopping now if you plan on moving. New construction as pre existing homes only last a couple days on the market.

Larmand is correct. Moved back to Texas in 2013. A new house that you could have bought for $180k is now $250k.
I have a couple of job prospects in Dallas. If either of those pan out, I'll be buying a new build in Waxahachie on the north side of the town.
North Ft Worth is getting really expensive for real estate.
But everything on the 287 highway (Waxahachie, Midlothian, Mansfield) is going for top dollar.

We’ll be neighbors! Have a lot we plan to build on in the same area, north side of Waxahachie.

And yeah, home prices, land and rent have skyrocketed here in the Waxahachie/Midlothian 287 corridor. Rent is only a little bit cheaper in what was once the very pricey uptown area of Dallas.

Have heard Mansfield is also experiencing explosive growth. The once-preferable northern suburbs in Collin and Denton counties have become saturated and have less and less room to grow. So now Ellis and eastern Johnson counties appear to be targeted to make room for the ever growing number of folks moving to the DFW area.

A friend had a 4 wheel drive shop here in Dallas and specialized in Jeeps. He said he did quite well fixing 4WP's installs and repairs.

Well between the warranty, labor, and misc charges that were added in made the wheel & tire package out of my range.

Where are you located at in DFW? It's a big place.
For another BBQ place, I'd try Hard Eight.
For tacos, my favorite is Torchy's Tacos.
You've got some expensive places out there such as Texas de Brazil.
Moderately priced places such as Oliva Italian Eatery, Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, or Cattlemen's Steak House.
Downtown Ft Worth? Try the burnt ends at Heim Barbecue. Everyone says that they are fantastic.

You can always check Yelp. Lots of good ideas for all over DFW as mine are mostly in the Ft Worth area.

Saltgrass is good, the Range Rattlers are delicious!

@FoghornTX made some damn good recommendations, taco places are plentiful and there arent too many bad ones. Torchys and Fuzzys are my go-tos.

There's a SaltGrass Steakhouse by 287 and Debbie. There's a Texas Roadhouse just down the service road from there. There's a good assortment of restaurants there as well as 5 miles north off IH20.

Texas Roadhouse is nothing more than a shitty national chain restaurant that's got nothing to do with The Great State of Texas except for one word in the name. If you're a Texan and you send someone to Texas Roadhouse, you should be shot on the courthouse lawn.
