All we can do is hope for the best. The dealer's word can be worth nothing.

Has anyone received their 1794 yet?!

    I am in PA.
Build date was 12/2 and original delivery was 12/24-12/31
On 12/27 is was delayed in QC with no estimated arrival date. GM contacted plant and was told it is 'held up for a part' but plant would not share what that meant. Still do not have an estimated delivery date from rail yard. Incredibly frustrating.

After my 4th build slip date and mounting waste gate QC issues, I cancelled my 1794 order - simply too risky a the roll of the $66K dice.
F-150 Platinum Powerboost will be in my driveway in six weeks. Fingers-crossed for all of your builds, guys!!

Congrats and good luck on your Powerboost! I don't even have an allocation yet as I'm still waiting for the factory to build a 1794 with TRD OR for my area.

Fwiw, Im in a similar boat.... placed a deposit on a 1794 in November. Estimated delivery date was December 20-22nd. Rail arrival around December 19th and has been in QC hold jail since with no end date at all. Nobody will give me any info.

Spoke with the GM today. Toyota initially told him it was for QC but now saying there is no quality control issues. They are built (1794 in my case) but “waiting for a part replacement”. They won’t tell the GM what I’m detail.
IMO it has to be the wastegate repair so that these cars don’t get a massive recall

PS my original delivery date was 12/28/21

Ordered mine on Dec. 2 here in Hawaii and got estimated build in early March but now my sales rep has no idea when my build date would be and can't give me any estimated delivery time. Toyota should really start thinking about making 22's into 23's if customers can't get their trucks until late summer/early fall.

These issues are pretty much universal for all manufacturers. I sold my 2018 Tundra and put a deposit on an "in transit" 2500 Silverado with Duramax engine. It has been delayed 4 times now with no longer any delivery date in sight. Thousands of GM trucks parked on lots in and around the factory in Flint, MI. There is a 185 page thread on the situation on the Duramax Forum. Misery loves company.

Where are the “mounting” waste gate issues?? Or is this the ongoing dumpster fire from most that have no desire to get one and interestingly often own a 2020 or 2021 “awesome Tundra”?

P.S. good luck with the 150. I have mulled one over as well. (Though they have their own set of issues it seems)

my fingers will be crossed for you as well.

My delay was (is?) after the build date, Jan 3rd, but before it was shipped. It’s supposed to arrive between the 5th and the 7th of Feb. That’s sounding unlikely at this point.

Mine was. Arrived locally by rail December 19th. Scheduled delivery was the 19th-22nd. Never released and has been on indefinite hold. Sales manager finally called again and said by the end of February now.

Mine came in last week on 2/1 and just picked it up yesterday. Was about a month behind when I was supposed to get it.
