The Decked isn't designed for that, but its an interesting idea. You can check out the manual online on the Decked site.

I imagine you'd need to be creative to with some diy mods to make it work- first being some way to fasten the center panel to the bed to keep it secure. Also the waterproofing of the drawer may be compromised.

What ya’ll need? Would a measurement from top of decked to top of bed side help?

I've been running a Softopper and Decked system for a few months now. No issues with install/interference between the two. I think I have about 10" from the top of the drawers to the bed cap. This has been the perfect combo for me!

Sweet! I was afraid that the bars would interfere with top of the deck when top is stored..but from your experience seems to workout perfect. Thank you for the pics..

Awesome that's exactly what I was looking for. I have a sweet cap right now with an RTT but am considering scrapping the system to a softopper and maybe an RCI or Voodoo rack for the RTT to be more of a modular system. Maybe even a rack over the softopper. The issue is although my truck is a sweet setup for camping and what not, I'm consistently needing it as a truck. Unfortunately I need four people to take the shell off and move it to the side yard due to clearances around my house. This obviously is a pain in the ass and needs to be coordinated. No spur of the moment runs to the local landscape businesses. I can't fit the truck in the garage, so a shell lift is out of the question as well.

I’ve never seen a discount or member code. I did buy mine through Home Depot which was $200.00 off. I haven’t seen that deal since I bought it in 2019

Random pic of a Leitner/Decked combo doing light farm duty to hay some horses. I'm gonna be trying a bunch of other odd farm tasks with this truck. Grounding the Leitner/Decked I have a Dobinson suspension kit. I'm going to try its might this summer.

For just a few bales of hay I use this setup- open tailgate, with a tarp laid and using the face of the drawers as a backstop. The most square bales I've stacked into a pickup bed is 67 bales in an 8ft bed F-350. I have trailers now but I am curious what I can come up with to appropriately load this 1/2 ton with Leitner rack.

I went with the Dobs medium leafs (120r).

I was torn about what to go with, but I am satisfied with my decision. I was kinda leaning toward the HDs, but after speaking at length with Main Line Overland (John K. in NH) I was sure they would be overkill for 80% of my driving.
MLO recommends the HD's for 700+lbs constant bed load, not the 500+lbs spec listed by Dobinsons. Judging from these stout mediums, I might consider that without enough added weight the stiff HD's could interfere with rear strut performance, and maybe stress the chassis or other parts over time. They also really increase rake without the added weight. But I know @Skey44 and a couple others on here are happily rocking out those HD's so I would defer to their assessment.

I will be towing with this rig and will update on how that goes. I decided I'd rather add airbags if I felt it was necessary rather than risk overkill with the HDs and for me I think it was the right call. I doubt I will need airbags with these mediums but will report back.

Oh, a few notes on the Leitner rack:

-Notice that I did use the load bar extension kits to raise the two bars. I found it necessary to use the extensions to clear the sharkfin. You will need to purchase two sets to raise the two bars. The extension height is adjustable, see manual.

-I had never used a riv-nut tool/ never installed rivets (for the rear braces to attach to the bed) I couldn't get them to expand by hand, but a light impact wrench send them home.

-This is more general advice- If you are installing the Rack and already have the Decked installed, be mindful of where you place your screws to avoid dropping them between the bed walls and the deck.

-I'm glad I went for a couple pack of the security bolts. I used two on each of four mounting plates, using the regular bolts for the remaining two holes. These bits weren't cheap but for me worth it. I can padlock my rotopax and shovel and MaxTrax but its no use if it takes 1 minute to remove the mounting plate.

Yeah I think the mediums are fine for most camping setups from what setups i've read about. The HD's definitely for a slide in. @Skey44 has a super nice setup.

I've had my @Decked system for 3 months and very happy with it. My original plan was to add a bed cargo slide tray to the top of the decked system to take advantage of the full bed width (above the wheel wells) at 60", and prevent gear from sliding all over the very slippery decked surface. Now that I'm looking to buy a bed/cargo slide, I'm realizing all the companies including Bed Slide (who makes a kit that specifically installs on top of a Decked System https://www.bedslide.com/i-30497717-install-kit-over-a-decked-system-5-5-and-6-5-applications.html) only offer trays up to 48" wide.
Is anyone aware of a company that offers a 60"x60" cargo bed slide?
I absolutely hate crawling into my bed to grab gear that has slid forward during travel. I figured this would be easy, but hitting a road block. Bed Slide's solution seems to be their Bedbin Side Kix which I feel is an inadequate solution (https://www.bedslide.com/i-30497599-bedslide-bedbin-side-kix.html).

    Thoughts?

I like the idea of slides, but we have one on our work truck and I’ve grown to not like it. In my experience it’s heavy, had bearing failures, and creates a lot of unuseable space. For a camping setup or mount for stove/fridge, stuff like that, I can see it being practical. My side windows on my shell fold open so no real issues grabbing stuff, but I do hate crawling in the back.

    Lots of shenanigans.
Sorry if this is a little off-topic or has already been answered but I’m getting any decked system Monday. I’m looking at a bed rack to hold a RTT but would like for it to sit level with a prinsu rack. Does anyone know if the Leitner bed rack sit at the same height of the prinsu roof rack? Thanks in advance.

@YotaBro I am also interested in that question....
If the Prinsu sits just above the sharkfin antenna then I imagine it will be higher than the Leitner bars without the adjustable bar extensions. I have a Leitner with bars raised 2-3" to clear the sharkfin. I'll post pics tomorrow if you'd like.

What’re the differences between the ACS forged and classic, besides the price?

Forged is rated for more weight and it looks like it’s from the future and not just silly old man round metal.

I honestly have no clue. I got mine in 2019 and then about a year later the newer forged design came out. So I felt great shame for not being new and hip and cool and everyone laughs at me.

I have the Forged...I'm liking it. I do stupid things with it like using it as a hitching post for saddling my horses. It's stout.

Wondering though if anyone has mounted rearward/reverse lights on their Forged...I am about to do that but looking at the mounting possibilities, I am seeing that the classic probably has the edge in this department. The riser looks like it will block some light using the most suitable mounting points. I'll post an update when I get it figured out.

Anyone running bed stiffeners with the rack installed? Looks like you’ll need to drill some holes to fit the brackets.
