While they are not specifically required like they would be with a 3”+ raising the front over 2” will change the geometry of your CV and drive shaft. They are cheap and it brings them back to factory geometry cutting down on wear.

Coachbuilder suggests them and they are only $13. Since I am using their shackles I am sure they know much more than me.

Ordered Falcons, Fuel Vector 18's, and Cooper AT3 295/70's. Now I wait, LOL. I was lucky and found all these items in stock so won't have to wait too long :)

I have Icons and love them. Would like to know what the "way too many issues" are. Just curious, as it is not my experience.

Waiting on wheels. I'm in Canada and ordered some SCS SR8 through a local vendor that imports them regularly to save myself some cash on shipping and duty fees. Just have to wait a bit longer, fingers crossed they'll be here in a month or two

From what I have seen failures in shocks them self and advice they give about the control arms is kinda shocking. As far as shops a lot of shops here wouldn’t touch them the 3 shops told me to many shock failures the another told me they can’t make money off them due to how many times they have to come back off the truck and sent back. Those were good enough for me to go a different route but maybe times have changed this was prob 2 years ago

Only issue I had with Icon was with their tubular UCAs. And only because I wheel my truck and needed higher caster. I was getting a lot of bump steer on higher speed stuff hitting rocks. If I didn’t wheel so hard, those arms would’ve been fine. As for the 3.0 coilovers, RXT pack, rear bypasses, bumpstops... I actually loved the entire setup and still think it’s the best MT setup for the Tundra.

I dunno 'bout that. They're still making the tubular arms WRONG. @joonbug had a nice ride with Icon's. I think the coil overs only had to be removed and sent back once. Now I've run King, Fox and ADS and never sent any of 'em back.:notsure:

Haha! Mine were from the first batch they ever made and it was an assembly error. They only leaked a little on my very first run. But once I got them back they were bulletproof. I’ve seen worse failures on other brands. Like resis falling off the truck.

Most of the places listed so far are just drop shippers and all come directly from Falcon. They are listed on the site but that does not mean they are in stock.
I have been in weekly contact with Falcon about delivery since November.

Yea the issue I see is most shocks are on back order.

I’m looking more towards dobinsons or Ironman myself now. Spent too much money on other stuff

Icon is over-rated & you're paying more for the name than the quality.

    Estimated.
I ordered back in November from a vendor that claimed to have 2 in stock and am still waiting.
Granted I ordered Black Friday so a few others likely beat me to it.
    But we’ll see.

Following this because I really like the sound of the Falcons. They aren't too far a drive for me to pick up direct either, but I don't like that they just reuse the stock springs up front. Makes installing myself a no go. I have bad luck and want to keep my teeth...

Anyway, anything you can document and post up would be appreciated. If you are having somebody else install them could you ask if they are willing document the process with pics? Definitely looking forward to hearing how you like them compared to stock.

You could probably find some take off springs for sale with low miles, take the shocks to a shop to install the springs for you and then install the coil overs

I live in the middle of nowhere. The drive to get take offs, or the cost to ship them makes this difficult.

I’m not looking forward to the whole compressing the coils during the install part, but I have a set of heavy duty compressors so I’m just going to take my time, use non-power hand tools and say prayers lol. Reusing the OE coils is a plus in my books. They’re Toyota engineered parts that are driver/passenger specific, so I shouldn’t have to deal with the lean usually accompanied with aftermarket coils and Toyota trucks

Once I am ready to put them in, I’ll take some pictures during the install if no one beats me to it
