I am chomping at the bit to lift my new 18 Tundra.
    So many decisions:
Toytec because their more affordable and T-Rexx is one cool cat...$
Old Man Emu because Grey Wolf runs them...$$
Kings because that blue is bitchin!...$$$$
Icon package because people like em...$$$$$$
ADS w/ Deavers U748 set up because I offroad with a shell and want to Uberfart...$$$$$$$$$$

Still waiting on half of mine to show up... I went with the k37s... hoping they will be enough.. reading some of these threads it makes me question.. but I'm unloaded most of the time.. never tow or haul.. but will be having a chase rack and a spare in the bed..

Nice. My only issue was them flattening out.. just read a few different instances on here. But it's nice to see that your not having any issues. Thanks!

the flattening issues I seen were with U748s and that's probably because they are on trucks that stay fully loaded all the time i.e bed rack, RTT, fully loaded with overland gear.

Been debating on upgrading to the U748 lately but I’m stuck between the bypass and the piggy back shock. I don’t really do anything high speed except messing around on dirt roads from time to time, but being able to say I have bypasses sure would be sick! Anybody have the piggybacks that wants to chime in? I can tell everyone with the bypasses are very happy with them.

I’m in need of new leafs....I’m normally drive with a light load maybe 100-150lbs, and tow periodically in the summer (4500-5000lbs). Which spring should I go with??? Also what kinda lift will I get in the rear?

Anyone in the Bay Area know where I can get my rear leaf Re-arched?

Go with the icon AAL. Not much sag, very comfortable and affordable.

i think i mentioned this earlier in the thread but, i have the 748s. they're a year old, completely flat and need replacing. i have decked drawers, a topper, expedition one steel bumper with a full size spare. if you don't have a lot of constant weight, they will probably last you. if not, i suggest looking elsewhere. personally, i'm saving pennies for a custom set from alcan. pricing is slightly cheaper than the deavers.

Not really.....1-200lbs mac, and tow a handful of times in summer. My boy is like 3 miles from the launch ramp and 50 miles from home when I take it there

Damn. That makes me think of just scrapping my Icon AAL and going full bore. Do you have the Icon Stage 2 per chance?

No I don’t....I think the problem lies more within my stock main spring being flat....I’m hoping to remove the Icon leaf and revert to stock and see how bad it is....

    I’m running Fox for now

Although, so far mine has been nothing but stellar. not sure what they did— but I think I got about an inch of lift.

from what I read on the forums, you are not the only one here with flat pack...I think the constant load just kill them no matter what they say. custom is the best option if you carry constantly imo.

Maybe I should go that route then, I have a camper shell, 35” spare and floor jack in the bed at a minimum every day. And to those talking about the Icon AAL, it sucks with weight, I live on the overload and it is not fun. Don’t waste your time or money, plus the stupid gaps in the leafs allow dirt to get in there so it requires cleaning and lubing several times a year for me.

i should have gone custom from the gate. that being said, i had no idea how much weight i would be carrying so, now that the truck is getting close to done (i know i know. it never happens), it's time to pull that trigger.

for sure. my conversations with alcan have been good and they are pretty responsive. atlas is another option. i've heard that deaver will also do custom packs but i have no solid information on that. for me, alcan is a no brainer since they are 2.5hrs from me. i'll just drive over and pick them up. i can't imagine having another set of leaf packs shipped to the house. the fedex guy stopped talking to me for a few weeks after he delivered the deavers... :anonymous:

same here. K37s and King 2.5. No issues at all however I travel light most of the time. No bed/no rack/ no steel bumper. YMMV
Deavers is down the street for me so when it's time to upgrade I'll go there directly with my plans :)
