Dead battery mystery

    TuwaPro rack, Z1 Offroad stuff, NISMO suspension stuff, FlowmasterFX Extreme exhaust, AIS, OVS, J&L can, other goodies on the way
    What I like about good AGMs is the extremely short cycle to crank the engine up in winter. Less abuse on the starter. A huge plus. My yellow top starts my engine instantly even when we had below zero conditions for several days here in CO.

    I remote start mine from time to time because I only drive it on the weekends and the head lights stay on for 20 minutes or so after it shuts off and I had a dead battery a couple weeks ago I don't think we realize how much they are using to keep everything in the truck going when not in use

    Yes, that and they can go for ages without the need for Battery Tenders. I can leave my FJR all winter (six months or so) without a Tender on it and it fires right up in the spring. Long, long life also, well worth the cost.

    I changed the settings for the headlights to go off when I open the door after shutdown, you may be able to change your setting to have them turn off when you shut off the engine.
