Use some fishing line to saw behind them. They’ll come right off. Use goo gone to get the glue off.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't debadging hurt the resale value some?

I was torn between black out & debadge. The visual makes it a no brainer for me - debadge.
Those are nothing more than marketing, fancy advertising stickers.
They probably make the body designers nuts - I bet they hate those badges.
DEBADGE for the win! (IMO) Let the lines of the truck speak w/o interruption.

Meh, stick the badges in a Ziplock bag, toss it in the glove box. Be there still for the next buyer.

I change my vote to leave them off. According to the picture above the truck looks very pleasant without them.

I never really understood the point of debadging. It just reminds me of some Pontiac owner removing the badges...hoping you never knew it was a Pontiac. Maybe they are hiding the truth from themselves or just love doing stuff to their cars :).

    I vote black badges.

When I see a Tundra with out the TRD offroad 4x4 badge I assume 2wd base suspension.

I have to agree with this. I did however remove my TUNDRA door badges, but left everything else. I think too many badges cheapen the way a vehicle looks, but a few are perfectly fine. Look at the Platinum and 1794 trucks, one badge on the door tells you what edition they are, no big 5.7L or TUNDRA badge. Your vehicle, your choice. Just remember that when you take them off, you can put them back, but it's a pain the remove the tape from the emblem and then re-apply new 3M tape.

I would remove the giant silver Tundra badge on the door, since the truck already has Tundra stamped into the tailgate, and replace the 5.7 badge with black ones. Heat up the badges with a hair drier and then saw some fishing line, dental floss, or the edge of a thin cloth behind them. Leftover glue will come off with Goo Gone or WD40. Do not pull or tear off when the surface is cold, as you may pop off some paint or clear coat with the badge.

Here's mine with just the door badge removed. Personally, I like it. Maybe try one badge at a time before you remove them all if that's the route you think you want to take.

You hit the nail on the head as to what I decided to do. And I used a heat gun and fishing line, great minds think alike lol.
I decided to remove the tundra badge on the lower part of the door. I replaced the chrome 5.7 badge with a black one. Here is a pic of the finished product:

Sweet! That looks awesome. The badge looks great with the black door handles. Where do you end up getting the black badges?

I found them on Ebay. $22 for the pair. They are good quality, metal instead of plastic.

One of he first things I do with any vehicle is remove all the badges. Sure makes washing and drying much easier with not having to worry about snagging the towel or sponge on them.

I’m going to leave the TRD Sport sticker on the bed because I am going to put these insert letters on the tailgate and I think the red and black will look good with that sticker

Removed the door badge and sr5 logo. Will probably do a black 5.7 badge. Like the way this looks.

    Really need a level/lift now.

Good looking truck, definitely the best color!
You can find those black 5.7 badges for a good price on Ebay and Amazon.
I have a 2.5 inch pro comp leveling kit on mine.
I love it, and it did not seem to change the factory ride quality.
