Removed the “Robichaux” badge and the TSS stickers. Looks SO much better. Next up, smoked tail lights using VHT and clear coat.

I hope youre ready for some work! To get the 4x4 knob and the ac vents you have to take apart your entire dash trim. I would recommend tufskinz for the vents. Have an extra set of hands to get the chrome out of the 4x4 knob. I couldnt get mine out by myself. Its not hard per say, but tedious and a little nerve racking.

Or black-out you gas cover to match the handles......LOL:rofl:

I do think the black door handles tie-in well.

I used black brushed steel vinyl to cover them. I know what buttons do what so i dont need the stickers. Here is a close up20190628_213057.jpg

Funny, I told one dealership that I was buying a truck from that if there were any branding other than OEM, I will not accept delivery of the truck. They laughed like it was nothing but a joke... I wasn't laughing. I made them put it in writing just so they knew I was NOT joking. I can't stand dealerships think that any part of our trucks are theirs to do anything with, let alone advertise.
That said, I believe in minimizing the badging. It really is a personal preference. If you like em', leave em', if you don't, then remove em'. But no matter what... Nix the dealership bling.

Do these trim pieces just pop right off or do you have to remove the whole console to remove them? I would love to do this as I am in the camp of not liking any chrome at all. Seems like the a/c vents are a bit of a chore to remove but if this is as easy as it seems I would like to do the cup holder and shifter piece.

The cup holder trim pops out pretty easy. Just need to pry with something on the inner edge. The shifter is an little more difficult but it doesn’t require pulling apart the entire assembly. I googled it and it pulled up a tutorial within this forum.

Bought the surround from Sparks and the bumper end-caps are coated in "Medium Quartz Grey" Monstaliner. That Monstaliner is AWESOME stuff. Super durable.

Yeah, it is a little dated, but the product is awesome. Reminds me, I need to order up a quart of black for the new (used) bumper I just bought!

Stickers need to come off for sure. They are just silly. I wouldn't wait too long after new. I took them all off and feel good about it.

I de-badge all of my vehicles, I also remove any stickers.

Badgeless vehicles are easier to clean, and easier to keep clean.

I de-badged everything except the 4X4 on my 16 white Pro.
People sometimes ask me what truck it is...

I personally like the black on light gray. They kinda have a pop to them. In the past I’ve striped them all off. So by creature by habit I would take them off.
