    None, yet....
I’ll 2nd the mob armor mount. It took me months to convince myself to buy it, considering the cost. One day I walked into 4WP for a tow strap and walked out with the black version.

It’s probably the best phone mount I have ever used/seen. It sounds kind of stupid typing this, but they really R&D’d the shit out of it. Usability is great, it rotates completely around, every function is tension adjustable, and the magnet is stupid strong. It’s strong enough that I’ll pop the rubber off and attach it to the cage of my crawler and it doesn’t budge, even when I make poor life choices and almost roll the thing..

I’m actually looking at their iPad mounts now since I’d like to use them for navigation purposes in my wanna be Overlander.

I can take a pic tomorrow of where it’s mounted, but it’s in the same location as above.

If u haven’t gotten one, check out the Hondo garage un-holey dash mount. I use that paired with a ram mount ball and cradle. It’s super sturdy, no drilling and u can set it up with whatever ram arm length u want. No offense to whoever used magnet stuff but no thanks... I’ve bombed trails off road with the hondo/ram combo and it’s like a rock.

Yes sir! I am going to use this on passenger side for my iPad. Hoping it wouldn’t be to large I have a back up iPad mini to run.. but I like the bigger screen.

I use the scosche magnetic mount...placed it just left of the screen below the volume knob. Doesn’t get any easier...just place your phone near the mount and it sticks in place and can easily be rotated any direction.

For those using a MOB Armor mount, does the base part stick to the dash or are you having to mount it some how? I'm looking at the smaller round MOB Armor magnetic mount. Don't like the one that holds the phone. Just want to be able to stick it and go and not mess with putting in a mount.

A plate with double stick tape sticks to anywhere you would like to mount. Then the mob armor mag mount will go on that. No drilling or cutting what so ever. At first I thought I would hate clipping it in every time but it’s become 2nd nature to do it with one hand. Very easy.

just found some on Amazon and they have 2 types, one with 3M backing and another that is a magnetic mount. If nobody has had issues with the 3M adhesive I will go that route since our dash shroud is plastic.

Do the magnetic mount. You can use that plate in another vehicle if you like.. so you don’t have to by another mount.

how will a magnet mount to dash if its plastic? I see 2 options for the mount. One with a magnetic base and one with the 3M adhesive.

It comes with a 2 magnetic plates you can double stick to the dash. Then the mount magnets bites on to that plate.

Oh ok gotcha, their website isn't very clear. So another question, how big is your phone? I have a iphone 6plus in a otter box defender case. My current set up I have a metal plate stuck to the outside of the otter box hard plastic and the silicone cover over that. The magnet in my current mount holds it ok but it will sometimes slide off of it as the magnet is not that strong.

This will hold it... I have a 7plus and the mob90 holds it really well in my friend 4runner(he has a 6plus with a mophie case and it doesn’t hold it-had to get a lighter case just to mount). I have a plate inside my case so I am sure that looses some bite from the magnet, but you should be good. If you want re assurance then get the mob mount switch-the clip isn’t all that bad. Peace of mind that thing isn’t going anywhere..

It’s pricey. But it is one of the better mounts out there that really hold up strong. They also integrate with RAM mount systems-which is endless mounting solutions for pretty much everything. I’ll be runnning this for the iPad. For my phone I will stick to the mob armor switch.
