Just traded in my 2013 Tundra for a 2016 one. Love it. Just curious though, 1st thing I noticed right away was new one doesn't have daytime instrument lights. The '13 had a nice orange color that you could see w sunglasses on during the day. Toyota is so good w design and ergonomics that this surprises me. Now it's hard to see instruments during bright day w shades on. Any thoughts?

Adjust it using the dim switch to the left and see if that helps at all.

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
If the headlights are on the interior lights are dimmed a lot. Try turning off the headlights.

There isn't any dim switch and I have lights off. It was just a nice feature on old truck during day. You can see panel during the day for the most part, it's just at certain sun angles w sunglasses on it just washes out. It is just an observation by me. No fix. Thanks though for your comments.

    Oh one or two.
There is nothing that I can find to get the cluster to turn on without at least the park lights on then my radio is so dim I can't see it with sun glasses on.

On my 2015 Dash light dimmer control is the odometer trip knob. Located at the odometer, just turn left or right.

The radio has to be adjusted through the radio controls. It's hard to see either way when sun glares on it.

I got this same problem..On my '12 Taco there is a rotary knob to adjust, on my '15 GX460 there is a rectangular button to adjust, on my '16 Tundra...there is NONE....

I'll try what JumpnJack said above and hope it will work.....
