Digging this post up. Noticed you’ve got stock wheels here with the 2.5 ADS rears. Are/were you running spacers? Did you have any contact with the shock body?

With the stock rims I needed a spacer in the rear till I got wheels and tires.

Running Method MR304's with no spacers now.

Sweet. I am headed to Vegas in two weekends and will be swinging bun MCM but need to get my wheels on before hand just don’t want to run into any rubbing issues before I can do a BMC.

Planning on running +25 methods with my 297/70R17’s.

Deaver U748’s installed to help with the extra weight with the rear bumper, rack, tent, and supplies while on trips.

The truck sits more level and the ride on the road is still just as good as the k37's. I haven't taken the truck on the trail yet.

I think I read somewhere that one of these brands are very noisy. Have you noticed this?

Both leafs are made by Deaver. My k37's would make a slight noise when they got dirty after wheeling, but I just clean them up after a trip. Never had noise issues when daily driving my truck

Also make sure the bushing are greased before installing them on the truck

Myfear was it being a little small to fit the rack on the truck. I see yours pretty far forward. Is that because of that?

The length of the tent won’t span 6.5ft bed so I put the tent towards the front. This allowed the tent to be mounted on the front 2 bars of my RCI Rack. It will fit on the rear and middle bars but I decided to use the rear bar for future mounting points and easy access.

Do you feel like a larger tent would be more beneficial as far as mounting and characteristics of the truck?

It could, but I guess that depends on the tent and the rack you have. The looks didn't really bother me for not being the whole length of the bed so I didn't really research that.

Gotcha. I picked it up yesterday. Its should be perfect for what I need. I'm really impressed at how light it is.

With our design using the 4 tent bars across the top, you should be able to mount the tent any where you want on the top of the rack, forward, centered, or towards the back!
