I get where @TILLY is coming from. I kind of agree that if I break something, or something breaks while I am working on my truck, I wouldn't be able to just take it into the dealership and feign ignorance as was suggested by @Marty McFly. I would absolutely take it in like @Dupey said and see if they could help me resolve it.

Either way, nobody needs to get worked up over these differences of opinion. OP has a few options to consider, and what he chooses to do and any good or bad karma/voodoo/whatever is all his. He's just asking for help.

Do you have another vehicle you could transfer the account to?
Then you can just use the Android app on the Phoenix.

I have the actual Sirius XM service linked to my wife’s Suburban. I then use the app in my Tundra and company Tahoe.

    To the OP:
Sounds like someone has offered you a screen for shipping so that is nice.
I am removing mine this week to install my ICS dash mount.
    I am quite nervous now!

Yeah yikes, haha. I see both points but no reason to get worked up over it. I didn’t intently damage it, not like I was hitting it with a hammer or anything. I only took it out and laid it aside. But I did “mess” with it. It’s not like it just went bad sitting in there by itself.

I started the thread asking for info on it and a part number to replace it.

To those offering replacements, I’m blown away and couldn’t appreciate it more. I’ll reach out via PM, Thank You!

@TTU19 I think you and a handful of people actually saw the intended humor in my original post and took my comment with a grain of salt LOL

I also posted in another thread, that I ride in shopping carts and get pushed into the bushes “jackass style”.

Hmm ... do I really do that :monocle:

So I just wanted to share the ending result to all this. @TFT kindly offered to send me his A/C control unit since he wasn’t using it.

Got it the other day. Swapped out the board and it now looks and works like a champ! Troy sent it out and didn’t want anything else in return. This is why I love this community. Selfless acts to help out another member. I can’t say Thank You enough!

Awesome turn out! That would’ve bothered me too! I’m sure you’ll pay it forward to the next time you could do something like that for someone else. I’ve been helped from this community many times, and I’ve done some helping myself. It definitely feels good on both ends. Glad you got it fixed Wes
