I just realized that I am proud of myself for being able to carry an expensive pocket knife, now I am responsible enough to not loose a knife. Not sure if everyone hits that point, but I was horrible about losing good knives.

I've been carrying the same CRKT k.i.s.s. in the dark for 7 or 8 years now. It replaced a Gerber Truss 2.5 that went m.i.a.

I’ve been carrying this Gerber for about 2 years. Before that usually had a buck 110 or 112 ranger in my pocket. I like a case in my pocket sometimes.

I have a lot of knives, and I make them in my spare time. I am partial to Zero Tolerance - built like a tank, incredible edge, just a plain workhorse. The 0900 is what I EDC in safe times. When I'm deployed, I carry a larger blade ZT for day to day and a fixed blade Randall for when I need it.

I've been carrying a Sebenza for about 20 years. Really like the knife and it was the clear choice back in the 90's. Since then a lot of knives have become available that are really nice too but the Sebenza has stood the test of time for me.

I have lost a knife or two over the years, but nothing very expensive and it has been a long time since I last lost one. My everyday carry is a half serrated Benchmade Pardue Tanto Axis.

CR Sebenza I have carried off and for 23 years. Still opens like it was brand new. Can disassemble it and put it back together and it has never changed the operation

It's apparently been discontinued by Kershaw and I'm not sure what I'll do if/when I ever have to replace it.

I have a tendency to lose knives so I do spend a lot on them. This little Winchester does the basics for me.

    That's a fine blade man.
I have a thing for Benchmade Axis folders too.

So far, the only nice, expensive blade I have lost (so far) is a pre-production model Osborne designed Benchmade 940. Was watching fireworks on the boat this past July in the ICW, sitting on the gunnel, stood up and it popped out of my pocket. No idea what the wife paid for it when she got it for my 15+- years ago, but nowadays they are $200 to replace it.

A little this and that...Broke now
I switch between my little ol' ka-bar which fits nicely in my pocket and is a great knife, and my new crkt m4 tanto folder with seatbelt cutter and glass break for emergencies. The folder may end up in my vehicle emergency bag I'm still sorting it out.

I have been carrying this sense Christmas cheap 20.00 Wal-Mart. Work at a ship yard. Clip is already loose. Had a Kershaw 10+ years until I broke the blade. It was great especially since my buddy found it in a tank. Don't like to carry anything too expensive. Buck 110 is for fishing and hunting in my opinion best knife to carry. This knife is a throw away if I break it or loose it no lost sleep.20190126_172216.jpg

I’m picky about blade profile. The gerber chill is near perfect size and profile. Would prefer better steel but sharpens super quick on a lansky mini croc. Bout $20. Light enough to Backpack in to break down joints so I don’t snap the blades on my havalon.
