Thanks. I have the Tepui Kukenam Sky ruggedized. Used it once last week. Just need to get it swapped over to the new bars. It will be a much better setup.

I've been out of town for a few weeks and haven't had a chance to mount the tent on the new bars yet. It should sit a few inches over the cab. I'll post a picture when I get it set up. Hopefully next week

Edit* reading comprehension! with the Thule bars it's below the cab. Too low for me as I couldn't open the cooler under it and had to drag everything out from under the tent.

Looks like a great job. I wanted to be a military pilot but thought I needed to go to the AF academy to do so. I was to old by the time I realized otherwise.

Did you get rid of the topper? Or is that a seasonal thing?

Seasonal. Can't live without it in the winter, can't stand having it on in the summer

Makes sense considering where you are located. I have never been a fan of toppers but your truck makes me want one. Hard to justify in AZ where its either hot or really hot most of the time lol wouldn't use it very much.

Can't justify the cost for how much I would actually use it. Would rather put that towards re-gearing.

For the tredpro I had to make my own mount. Ended up taking two different mounting options and combining them. Couldn't find anything plug and play for the bedrail and wanted a clean mounting solution out of the way. As for the tools I ordered the 4x innovations bedrail mount with quickfist for the Tacoma. The bottom part of the bracket (Support) that is supposed to be against the side is free hanging with the taco/Tundra difference. Tools don't weigh that much and it's not an everyday carry so I don't foresee any issues.

Nice truck. Seeing those Duratracs on yours is what I needed in order to decide what I'm getting.

By chance, did you notice bed bounce with yours prior to the shackles?

Thanks. I'm hoping new shackles and ADS rear shocks will greatly lessen or eliminate the bounce.
