@Tundra234 weren't you mentioning how you noticed the pack to be a little flatter than you thought it would be? Your ride height was what you expected right?

Yes but @BayRunner said it looks fine to him. Mine was only 1/2 inch lift and the other 1.5 was from the Toytecs. Yes the overall lift was correct. I was at 41.25 before and 41.75 after. With settling I think it's back at the 41.25 or just a tad higher.

Im running 35’s with Kings dialed in just over 3” in the front. Currently running CoachBuilder +3 (1.75” lift) in the rear. This setup gives me about 1/4” rake.

Yes.....mine were about $970, shipping to FL was $220, and ubolts shipped was around $90. The Toytec ubolts will fit..theirs are $44 plus shipping. I'll have to look to see if mine were the 7 or 9 inch.

damn, ill have to look at mine closely. Did you pursue warranty at all with toyota? I know suspension usually isnt covered but that would be a premature failure in my book.

Not worth fighting Toyota over it. My stock ones were shot at 3k miles from the weight and lift i added. Even if Toyota were to replace it will just happen again. And the reason we all spend so much on the Alcans/deavers is because the ride is substantially better than your on the shelf springs. Plus each set is custom made

Yes, they are expensive but they are custom built and not the same as Dobinsons. The Dobinsons are rated at a certain weight and if your load is less than that weight, the rear end will sit higher and ride rougher. Alcan’s keep the same height regardless of the load and allow more wheel travel for a smother ride.

No I didn't. I'm lifted so that would toss it out. The ride is so much better than stock springs.

You should be close. You will be about a week out once you get the email asking about ubolt measurements. Once you email the measurements if you are getting the ubolts from them, call and make sure she has your email. She missed mine and I had to wait an extra week for them.

Actually, I just looked at email and have 4 UPS tracking numbers from Alcan. A little confusing because I did not get an email for ubolt measurements. Also the weights on the tracking numbers are weird.
    • 4 lbs (I assume shackles)
    • 82 lbs (I assume one pack)
    • 82 lbs (I assume the other pack)
    • 168 lbs (this one has me confused) Maybe I got @Mrf1987 springs as well for a bonus.

From everything I've read, I get the distinct impression that a leaf sprung rear suspension is pretty tough to dial in and is generally optimized for a fairly narrow weight range.

My shipping notification was the same way. The springs will ship as 2 separate pieces. Disregard the 168 lb notification. The 4 lb would be your shackles. The ubolt package weighs more than that. I would call them about ubolts, maybe they overlooked it.

Im traveling right now so can’t measure my U Bolts. Can always run with @Tundra234 measurements which should be accurate for ORM springs.

They had me double check. A is actually closer to 9/16 diameter. I'll update original post.

It's updated. Yes, those are measurements for the stock ubolts and stock leaf pack for anyone that needs them.
