So I got tired of not being able to see my electric mirror button in the dark. I found these lights at Autozone and did an easy cheap install. I tied up the loose wire and taped it to a wire loom under the dash out of the way. The power for it is a simple outlet connector with a push button on/off switch. I haven't decided where the other light will go, maybe glove box?? The only issue is the light wont stick to the dash very well. It does sit in place though without any help. Maybe some stronger 3m tape...

I used an interior tool to gently stuff the wire out of sight

Nice. Not too bright to affect driving either. Good work.

I sure wish Toyota would figure out that their customers want back lit buttons, on all buttons.

You have to reflect the light off the mirror at the deer and shoot over your shoulder.

@Tracker , what did you wire into for the illumination to occur when the cabin is lit?

The 4th picture down theres an accessory outlet that says On/Off. Its a pushbutton that I hit when I need the light on. The other wire going to the right is another LED light I haven't rigged yet. Maybe in the glove box...

I notice that switch now. Thx.
I may look into hardwiring into the dash lights so it's on automatically.
If that gets accomplished, I'll post up pics & info.
