Trying to pull the trigger on rims and tires. Hard for me to get new rims and tires when there is nothing wrong with mine..... BBBUUUUTTTT

Putting feelers out on peoples interest (I'm in MD) in TRD rims (machined ones not TRD PRO blackout). This isn't a sale thread, it's a conversation starter. If interest is decent, I plan to buy within a month.

Color me old-fashioned but I like to get some of the goodie out of something before replacing it unless I just can't live with it. But that's just me.

See that's where I'm struggling... i want new shoes but like the set I have... If I see I can move them to a good home then pulling the trigger on new ones could actually happen...

If you guys haven't noticed I only post when I need sense talked into me or seeing if I could actually pass on my goodies, in this case TRD rims and tires. I'd be more open to a new pair to suit my wants

This place is good for learning from others and is why I post often.

I know you heavy spenders don't get why I post feeler threads to see if it's worth the time to post goodies here

Have you done any pricing to see what your current wheels/tires could be worth? You may be able to get an idea of what you could expect your current set up to sell for on perhaps Craigslist. I am generally disappointed when it comes to "betting on the come" of what I can sell something for in order to get something new. You probably don't want to hear this but I would be inclined to start saving for the set up I want until I could pull the trigger on buying it. Then sell your old wheels/tires to offset what you can get out of them.

Interested to see how long this lasts. Mods took down a similar thread I created to gage interest in my PRO rims and my new ones are already ordered...

I don't see harm in it... Some people like to see the practicality of selling before selling

my guess is you'll get about $900 if low miles on the tires. that's what I paid in Md for a new set.

As long as you have decent tread and no gouges on the wheels, you won’t have a problem getting 700. Just do it!! Nothing transforms our trucks more than wheels.

Tim, I think you’re already lifted, right? Then it’s a no brainer.

If your thinking about doing new ones then its time to buy and get what you want. I was gonna wait on everything until I had more miles on the truck so I would feel like money well spent and not money wasted. But to be honest I am enjoying the truck and the mods that makes me happy. And am now saving for the next mod. Lol
