Interesting idea. I suspect the loss in clearance due to the rollers wont make up for the decreased drag that the rollers would provide (unless you tucked them into the frame). As for the flat belly, that sounds beneficial in a lot of ways, but also sounds like an absolute pain in the ass. If you're dedicated to the stock tank, I would look at slimming the tank itself or mounting it in the bed. Cutting all that shit out above it and cutting up the body sounds terrible, and almost mandatory to lift the body to access all the shit you need. But more power to you if you decide to that, maybe I'm just lazy :D

I give you massive props as usual for pushing a Tundra so far and solving issues without butchering the truck. It reminds me why I stopped wheeling full body rigs :p

It would be tucked into the frame with the rollers probably sticking out about a 1/2". The tummy tuck seems more realistic to me and it's a solution to the shitty fuel skid issue.
As for lifting the body to get access.... I love this video where you drop the frame instead - the shit you find on YT:

The :ballchain: had to drive my truck in yesterday’s rainy weather so it’s time to finally get rid of the bald tires and put on the street tires - hungry, hopefully they’ll finish by the time I get back

It’s about an inch off the ground when they put the jacks on the crossmember. Just enough. It’s a friends’ shop that I go to, whatever works works for me.

Drove home at my usual 30lbs of pressure and it was squirrelly. Might try 35 or 40. Tires are much quieter.

They sure are. I only got them in September but was holding out to squeeze every ounce of rubber left on the 40s but they were too slippery with all the rain.

Ended up at 50lbs before the weird squirrelly feeling went away. Max is at 64. Don’t like these tires already but I’ll keep my mouth shut cuz I shouldn’t be looking at a gift horse in the mouth as some might say.

Old and new tires are 10 ply: 7 on tread and 3 on the side
When I say "squirrelly" I mean the truck crabwalks left and right and I have to really pay attention.

Crab walking is a little scary. Be safe out there. I bet they won’t be as bad when you’re airborne.

    Good news:
After 8 damn months my 40" Mickey Thompson Baja Pro XS Tires have finally shipped!! Now just have to wait for the damn wheels, which has been 7 months and counting :(
    upload_2022-12-2_17-34-28.jpg

    Bad news:
My transmission won't shift beyond 2nd gear when in 4Low . Did a drain and fill at the stealership...didn't know that mofo cost an arm and a leg
Thinking it's a shift solenoid but need to plug in a reader to find out. If it is I'll have to drop the pan and do some surgery :puke:
