Hold off on ordering the rears. Let me do a test fit on mine and if I don’t need them I can sell them to you.

TC long travel. Deaver 420 SU leaf packs.
I think they're 8"??? @Vizsla knows, he used to have that setup or maybe the TC one. I know another guy with that setup too. If you want I can check to see if he has any of the parts you may be missing. Best to ask Vizsla first.

Was redoing the leaf springs yesterday and let if full droop. I need another 3 inches on top of the 11 inches of travel my current shocks have. With the relocation kit I'm thinking it'll be similar or a little longer. After searching the web I don't think there are shocks with stem/eyelet mounts at the lengths I need - only eyelet/eyelet configurations. @TG705 looks like I'll be keeping this kit as it has the eyelet top mount.

The Camburg kit just came in, it has the bolt on perches, the hardware, and the weld on lower brackets. I don't think I have any missing parts :notsure:

Got a little too eager and decided to install the LCAs today, after work, started at 5pm.

    Quickly got both LCAs off.

Putting the TCs in are quite tight. Forgot that it gets dark quick nowadays and didn’t want to be that noisy annoying neighbor so I’m calling it quits and letting it hang:

Soooooo those with TC lowers, how much caster can you set? I’m trying to position the cam bolts for maximum positive caster but because of the rigidity of the bushing and center bore it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen.

I typically have the cams positioned in opposite directions but with these TC lowers it looks like they’ll need to be in the same direction. Can anyone please confirm?

    Here’s the driver front/front

Turns out the LCAs have built in caster. The rear mount is actually slightly angled compared to the front mount. Got everything back together, did a quick string and pole alignment, and took it for a test drive. There's definitely more caster than before because my truck just wants to pull straight (of course we want it to go straight). Gonna hold off on replacing the UCA ball joint until after T2S.

Yeah, took a common sense approach to it. Get the front furthest inward while the rears are furthest out. I’m actually thinking I have too much caster but I’ve got more shit to prep to get ready for T2S so I’ll table it for now.

Thanks for lookin out, really appreciate it :D

I seem to always find something wrong right before a trip. I did not check for clearances after installing the TC lowers. Turns out my CV boots were rubbing on the shock base.

    IMG_1052.jpg

So I looked at the bolt spacers and thought I could just flip them around. Nope. The smaller bolt spacer was too small and allowed the shock to contact the LCA. So I went to Lowes and bought 5/8" bolt spacers then cut them down to size with a hack saw.

    IMG_1076.jpg

    Not perfect but they'll do.
    IMG_1078.jpg

    Now there's daylight.
    IMG_1081.jpg

Time to sleep...gotta hit the road to T2S in 4.5 hours :)

I was thinking the same thing. TC should have sent him LT uppers and said "keep 'em". Then TC would make even more $$ when Tony 'had' to go LT.
