got my delivery yesterday. First thoughts after opening it: Product looks very sturdy, however the box was slightly crushed which means the template is slightly crushed after I cut it out. Doing the installation today (hopefully), will report my finding later today.

And done. Crushed box was no problem. This is a great product. Biggest pain was trying to cut out the foam with the knife. PITA!!
Super happy with the outcome though. a86bcf89f577acbadb22259e4427eaa6_e3643c3c83da9c6925c2f2590f6751c9a5d89027.jpg8be4948602de81b749d19e30447f504c_4feaa66faf9677d84b6a4e7acc893901d9904598.jpgbcceb06f68f65f13f1713045eec31a5b_4cb0c82fb493aa14b8513e93216ad8270e0d7a5a.jpg

image.jpg I received mine yesterday and it only took about 45 mins to install. I just went slow after reading all the write ups here. Painless install. Great improvement

Wife got me the plastic one for Christmas, I installed it today, and love it. Scared to death to make the first cut into the carpet, but it turned out great. Great Product!

Installed mine this past weekend, the plastic one. It is was install was easy (and I forgot to take the seat bolts out first). When cutting the foam a out, I inserted the linoleum knife in the middle of one of the cuts and turned it toward the middle. Then you can pull up to pull the block (of foam) out. Love the extra storage.
When moving the items from my taco to my CM, the taco has move storage room. Someone said their is a mod here to access storage behind the rear seat. I am looking for that next.

Any thoughts on making under seat storage for the 5th gen 4 runner?

Ordered the plastic set this morning. The lack of under seat storage is a total miss by Toyota. I'm so glad ESP Truck designed this solution.

We've already dealt with it. This was back in Dec of 2015. The box was crushed around one of the corners, including part of the template. You said you could mail a new one if needed, but i made it work. I don't know why my post got quoted here.

For the group, I will leave it at $699.95. The price as I had stated will be going up to $749.95, but for group members, I will keep it at that. Also, I charge $120.00 for installation, so if you want me to install it for you, I can help you out there. If anyone has questions, you can call me at 951-858-3418.

If you could do the locking one for 399.00 for Christmas, could you offer that now? I would like the locking one but I really only need one small compartment to lock for a handgun. Is that possible to get any cheaper?
    Thanks,
    John

I installed the open underseat storage unit. It wasn't hard at all. I did have to call about the template, but they said the new boxes come with the proper template. They walked me through it and it was a breeze! Great place to put a small safe for your handgun. Just wrap the cable around the seat leg. I hate leaving my pistol in center storage unit when going bldgs that don't like handguns in them. You don't even notice the box under the seat.

Actually, that was Christmas 2 years ago. We have a forum discount, but it brings it down to $449.95. We have had huge cost increases including shipping that has gone through the roof, that is why we had to raise the price on this. If you want the code it is TNDRASDTCM.

I really wanted these but I feel like it actually takes away storage. I just have all my stuff laid out under my seats and it stays put for the most part. Then I can use all the square footage of the underseat floor boards. Those of you that have installed it, what are your thoughts?

That's what I thought until I was going 70mph and had to come to a screaching halt. My trailer ball came out from under my seat and slammed the back of my center console and punctured it. That was what got me to design these.
