Crewmax Platinum Longbed

I ordered a platinum also with 6.5 bed late November and still no eta. Dealer told me hopefully next week they’ll hear something as more and more truck have just started rolling in. I’m in Ontario Canada.

 

I saw a 2022 Tundra, crewmax with 6.5ft bed White, on the 210 Freeway (SoCal) last week. It really looks perfectly proportioned compared to the 5.5ft "shorty" bed. Also saw a DC 6.5ft army green SR5 while up in Big bear 2 weeks ago.
I have also spoken to Longo Toyota and I was told 12-15 months for my preferred configuration. 1794, 4x4, TRD package, 6.5ft bed, hybrid.
I'm kinda rethinking the hybrid since the Mpg is no where near the 25hwy i was hoping for.

 

Truck showed up today Platinum, Wind Chill White - Longbed.. not the best picture taker. I'm putting a 3.5" Rough Country Lift, 295 / 60 / 20 Mickey Thompson Baja Legend EXP's on next Friday.

Congrats! I have the exact setup hopefully being delivered next week. Mine came with the automatic running boards and some other add ons (no leveling suspension). I like the look of your TRD running boards

 

where are you located and when did you order it?

 

I’m in Houston, TX and came across it by luck. Called every dealer within a 350 mile radius and found this one at a small dealer 1 hour away. They had this one unspoken for and sent them my deposit asap.

 

Sent deposit mid February and build date was 03/09

Mercy! Nice to see these long beds starting to show up, those platinums look great!

 

I would have preferred the auto running boards. I like to wear shorts, for some reason today I have decided to not use the running boards, hopping out of the truck. Those TRD running boards are no joke! Slipping won’t ever happen. I’m coming from an SUV.

The backs of my legs at paying the price! I think once I get the lift, tires on next Friday I won’t have a choice. Or at least I’m hoping

 

Yeah I really think the 6.5ft bed balances the CM out well. Loving the truck so far. Be tires next week!

 

Really liking the Blueprint! Either Blueprint or Windchill were the two I was going to grab! Windchill was the first to pop up. Congrats!

 

If you don’t mind me asking what tires are you going with next week? Lift?

Yeah trying out the pro comp 2.5in lift made for the 22 Tundra, see how that goes. Haven’t had pro comp before, but nothing else out there yet. If I don’t like it I’ll switch to something else as others release.

I went to the dealership on 01/01 to look at one they had available and ended up leaving a deposit for a Platinum. My build date was 02/07 then moved to 02/14 and it actually did go into production on 02/14. I picked up my truck on 03/10. I'm absolutely loving my truck.

 

Finally picked it up today!

 

Yes - MSRP. Dealership was Silsbee Toyota near Beaumont, TX. Worked with Tonja - she was great.

 

Build dates don’t exist Lol.. some salespeople just like to tickle your balls

Question for longer bed peeps what is payload on these? Trying to fogure out of the beds make a big difference.

 

Finally got my CMLB lifted, Rough Country 3.5” W/Mickey Thompson Baja Boss 295/60/20 Tires on my Stock 20” Toyota Rims. Front windows tinted to match. It’s been a rough 2 weeks on the wallet. I’m happy for a bit.

 

Truck looks great with the lift kit and tires.
What percentage is the tint on front windows?

 

I want to say 5%? It’s whatever his meter said the back windows are.
