its a 2.5 triple bypass, not sure on the length...LT is 10in so i assume its around 8in it was built specific by king for the tundra so it may be some odd number...all four bumps are 2.5x2in

Kinda bringing this back from the dead. Since King released their factory location 3.0s, would you do the Camburg kit again? Currently torn between the 2.

sorry not on here as much as i used to be...thats tough to answer, i think if the king 3.0s are pulling as much wheel travel as the ads triple bypass(deaver spec) i would probably take that route and not deal with relocation all 4 shock mounts...the thing with the rear of the truck is the travel is largely dependent on the leaf pack not just the shock, so to have a 3.0 bypass that gets 9in of travel with stock leafs seems like a waste to me.

if king pulls 13in with deavers like the ads triple(stock shock mount location) i think i would do that over the camburg kit...if youre going to be stuck at 9in of travel..id do the camburg kit and a 2.5

Thanks for the reply. I am gonna end up going with the camburg kit, deavers, and the camburg spec 3.0" triply bypass. Should hopefully pull more wheel travel than the stock bolt in kings. I was of the same opinion, that if I am spending the money, I may as well get the most performance for my dollar.

nice, are you going to run fox or king? i know camburg spec'd fox bypasses to this kit, but you can run either..if they did the leg work already though go with fox...what set up are you doing up front? also prepare to have those deavers re-arched fairly soon mine did not give me the lift i was hoping for out of the box..had them re-arched for 300$ and truck is way better now

Plan was to run the new King 3.0s in the front and figured I'd match the 3.0" triple bypass in the back. Now I am 2nd guessing my decision though. I just pulled up their site and I do see that the Fox's will net some additional travel. Hmmm....

I was going to settle for the stock bolt in rear kings, but then realized they had a different option, hence my question. Rear deavers are u748s. According to camburg, the leaf packs are the same thickness between the K37s and U748s and the kit will work with both, but the u748s should handle the load better.

yup all that is correct..i have the u748, and had them re-arched...how much fast whooped out stuff do you have where ever it is you wheel? being in AZ long fast desert is the majority of my trails..if that isnt what you do im not sure the camburg kit is worth the extra $$ for the fabrication cost..vs bolt in of the other set ups

Plan is to wheel everywhere and everything. Not too much high speed chop out in my neck of the woods though. I'm in the midwest/south. I would like to eventually make it out west again and have the capability. I will be running the 3.0s up front with total chaos uppers and lowers. I'd like to have the ability to add a secondary bypass up front, but I need to get the basics out of the way. Not sure if I should go with the 2.5s and then add a 2.5 bypass instead of the 3.0.

    Badass!

are you talking about the stock length TC LCA? if so i would take the absurd amount of money those LCA cost and buy bypasses..
if youre going to do it at the same time and money is the issue, i would do a 2.5co/2.5bypass over a 3.0 CO..but if youre just going to do the CO first and add bypasses down the road, id get the 3.0.

the money you save by not doing TC LCA could buy the bypasses and then some lol

this isnt anything against TC or that i think their lca is bad..but its the same price if not more than a LT kit from them...if youre going to spend 3k...go LT lol

Agreed, I love TC but their pricing on those lowers is absolutely idiotic... according to the LSK IG they’re going to start on stock length lowers very soon so keep an eye out for those! Why did you choose to upgrade from the Smitty 10k to the 12k?

Yep, cost is a big drawback, but I get where they are coming from on the manufacturing stand point. Fairly complex time, lots of manual welding, etc. I am also talking as my lowers wear out though. My truck has some miles on it and as I continue to beat it up, I am sure it will eventually be time to replace them. Plan would still be to run both, but I am keeping the factory lowers for now.

I did see that... LSK arms look awesome. I saw a set on a taco setup and they looked pretty good. Never seen a set in person off the truck though.

the 10k did great but did struggle occasionally, im only replacing it because the solenoid shit the bed and i didnt have a receipt or want to contact them to get a replacement(disclaimer my winch sat under water in a river for 3 days and i still used it for 2+ years after that incident) the winches are cheap enough and i was thinking about upgrading anyways. ive learned to pretty much always use a snatch block when winching. i dont rock crawl or use my truck as farm equip so if im winching its an oo shit moment and i want a lil more power for piece of mind

i think i got the stock LCA for like 300ish from napa...so you could literally buy 10 sets of stock LCA for the price of TC...only requirement would be to weld on the bypass mount which is 3 flat pieces of metal..The stock LCA are beefy and last a long time..which was my reason for staying stock over the stock length lca

Makes sense! I’ve been eyeing the 10k X20 lately.
I found a set of low mileage take off LCAs for $250 a while back, changed them around 180k (balljoints got swapped at 163k) and honestly they weren’t the problem I was chasing. Like Zack said, they’re very strong. Only advantage of the TC lowers are the uniball and poly bushings, not sure that’s worth $3100...
