UPDATE : Much better pricing on Amazon for these same light bars. Not sure about quality now. I am going to pass on these.

There is a lot of tundra/ tacoma stuff in the Anchorage Craig's list as well. I never saw so many Tundras, Tacomas, and Raptors in one place. Anchorage is around 290K in pop. I would see sometimes 4 or more tundras at a 4 way intersection. Toyota trucks seemed to be the preferred gas powered truck. Never gets cold enough to freeze gas. -97Degrees F gel point. Most of the big three trucks I saw were of the diesel variety. Mass quantities of them too. Have to keep them plugged in to keep diesel from gelling. +15 degrees F gel point

When I lived in MN, we would sometimes leave the diesels run overnight. There was so much unburned fuel that it would leave an icicle of fuel from the tailpipe to the ground. Unacceptable, today. The only problem we had with gasoline was when the local Ma and Pa station topped up their tanks with the garden hose. :(

My friend up in AK would take along a generator to keep his truck plugged in if we were in the sticks overnight. I'd just start my truck up in the morning, no problemo

When we went up to the cabin in the winter up by Duluth MN, we would remove the car batteries at night and bring them into the cabin to keep them from freezing.

Ditto on that. You would think the topper is worth a lot more on an island 2k miles offshore.

That's what I thought Matt but I've been here a year now and had maybe 5 calls! Think maybe it's the color, haven't seen any other truck this color on the island ....island is only 550 square miles in diameter! Thought about painting it but didn't want to spend more $$$ , that's why I went real low.:goingcrazy:

Have you tried placing an ad on line on the various military bases? (MCAS Kaneohe, Oahu for example) If you know someone stationed there, they should be able to get it posted on line and possibly in print. Military folks, depending on their status, get their vehicles and household goods shipped back to stateside for free or at minimal fees. Might give that a shot. (or move here to CO and sell it to me :headbang:) I know being on Kauai doesn't help. The Pacific Missle Range Base is on Kauai (PMRF). Looks like you got to move here.

I ended up selling my Pro tires on craigslist for $400 with 900 miles on them and it took about 7 weeks.
