@Crunch527 Very nice sir. I can't swing a big block. My pops and I frame offed my '66 small block back in '88-90. Took us three years to get it all together. If I had to buy one today it would be way out of the toy range LOL!

Beautiful! If anyone asks me my dream car, the answer has been the same for 25 years. 1963 split window, blue, side pipes. Love the 63-67 Vettes!

    OMG!

I had almost the exact same vette.

    I had an '02 ZO6 in blue.

I loved that car, until I pretty much realized it was a useless tool, unless you took it to the track.

It really didn't hunker down and feel right until you were going over 100mph. All other times it was like trying to reign in a thoroughbred race horse.

My Tundra on the other hand is very much a useful tool. It is my fish truck, my bicycle hauler and it is my home away from home when I am off on my extended fishing trips.

That being said, if I had the resources I would definitely try to find room in my garage for a Vette.

    Thanks for the memories.

Mine is a garage baby now. I used to daily drive it. We took it to Texas Speed and Performance and had the top end changed out with TSP parts. Its pushing around 500 to the wheel. I used to do the whole stick a 20 on the dash and if you could grab it then you could have it. No one ever got it.

Just got on here myself! My 2011 Tundra almost melted my 2006 Vette convertible beside it when it burned up. Welcome to the forum!

Saw your intro. Welcome, and sorry for your loss.

I had my dream Z51 M6 Corvette from September 2005 until March 2107. Now, the proceeds from it's sale are financing my 2017 Tundra. I got too old to lower my butt into a Corvette, and I worried too much about driving it out into an insane world. Not much pleasure in that, but I do miss it...a little bit.

My wife gets pissed because I barely drive the '66. I am convinced that a soccer mom will be texting her boyfriend and hit it. When I do take it out I leave the key in it. If they come to get it, there is nothing you can do to stop them. Seems like they will either key the paint and ruin it for you, or take it and chop it down.
