You were supposed to as @jberry813 if 35s would fit a stock TRD pro. Lol

My money tree is pretty dry right now. Here is my fix to gain more clams$$:

    For the money tree:
[IMG]+ when cooking and for lighting:[IMG] (to save on propane/electricity), or even a better way to save$$= two layer Scottish Brisling Sardines. Best on the planet: [IMG] although I prefer them with spring water, no olive oil. Nothing better than cold water Scottish Brislings. Not all sardines are alike. Power Ball is something like $400+ million.

If I went with 35's I would have to definitely have to do the cab mount chop mod and most likely some minor bumper and skid plate trimming. See @Seans266 build thread.
The 295's fit perfect with a small modification to the front plastic fender skirts. Very small modification.

Seriously... I'm running 285/65/18R STT Pros with Method Roosts 18 x9 on stock SR5..I had minor rub on the flaps at full lock quick fix..Iv'e put about 2000 miles on them although I have yet to see real rain and the chances of snow in San Diego pretty slim Sean's review is legit and compared to bone stock tires and rims...Well I'm sure most remember that feeling of c'mon overtime I need new shoes! Bottom line they are good to go!

here are some day 1 pics:

Ok epic fail at attempted humor from previous post about the 35 in tires fitting... and our post the other day that started with OMG since I currently reside in the Peoples Republic of Ca I couldn't help it...and lastly to get back on the thread topic I run STT PROS also to top it off my pics did not load..
So I'm gonna grab a beer and leave the humor to comedians.

Right on brother I'll give it a look. And since this is a non political forum I "allegedly" saw Hillary's America yesterday and would "hypothetically" say it confirms what we already new...She drives a Tundra with Stt Pros as well.

Dinesh D'Souza and Peter Schweizer are my favorite potential SST Pro Tire owners. By the way I'm still going to do the cab mount fix. I want all the clearance for my tires I can get whether I need it or not.

Nice review Sean! I've had mine for about 8-9k miles and they're wearing very evenly. I only managed to get them in the snow once last winter but was very pleased and they have been a great street tire so far.

I see that you live in Seattle. How do the STT's perform when you get the "occasional" rain? :cookiemonster: (heh heh) Any hydroplaning issues?

:rofl:I haven't had any issues with hydroplaning in our occasional rain. I don't drive my truck everyday just to keep the miles low, but when I do, I commute 100 miles a day round trip and any road water goes unnoticed.

After going back and forth between these tires and the Toyo open country AT2's, this review helped me make my choice. Going on my daily driver with minimal off roading, but living in the northeast with the snow we get I think I made the right choice!! Thanks for this great review

You made a wise choice. I have no doubt that the STT's will perform. The STT's are like when you see that girl next door, you might even be a total dork/nerd, but YOU want it!! Go for it!! That girl next door is going to notice your awesome Tundra at first, then, "wow, cool tires". "Can you take me for a ride?" (or , pay too much for Toyo's, Nitto's, blaaah...........)

How about those crappy Duelers they actually put on new Tundras. I hope Toyota stopped that.

At least mine didn't have those when I bought it. My brother has Duelers on his used F150 that he bought from Ehrlich, he's had to patch them at least 3 times in 15,000 miles.

Thanks Sean, I've been considering the STT Pros or the Aturo Trail Blades. The review helps a lot. This thread makes me feel a lot better about not buying the "like new" set of Toyo's that were on Craigslist here. $700 was hard to pass up for a 285 75 18.

Atturo's are made in Thailand. Probably why they are "reasonably priced knock offs".

One of my buddies has the Atturo's on his lifted F350. Said they're loud as all hell on pavement, even for an MT.
