Best Deal is legit. Full factory warranties with everything they sell. Micro Center used to be a good place...

I am not familiar with this deal site but there are similar places on the web. The thing to look at with any used computer is how old is it, does it have a manufacturer warranty and who refurbished it. I have seen some "refurbished computers where nothing was done to "refurbish" them.

Best Deal is a local Denver store. Legit. Quite popular place here in Denver area.

Get a Mac dude. You can get a refurbished one for pretty reasonable. My personal Mac is a 13" refurbished and I have a 15" for work. The work laptop supports 3 screens and 2 operating systems simultaneously like a boss

    Here is what I do.

I find open box / closeout Macs and max out the ram and install an SSD in them.

I currently have a Mac Pro with 12 processors / 256 gigs of ram ( yes gigs ) and 1 SSD and 3-6 Terabyte drives for storage.

I purchased the MaC Pro as an open box and bought the other stuff on Black Friday closeout deals. I have about $2,400 invested and have a PC that retails for $12,000.

I could launch the shuttle from my house if I wanted.

I code and run a MAPP development sandbox / Vimware Windows / Linux and other Distros and everything else I need without blinking an eye.

Between an SSD and Ram, it’s the single biggest upgrade you can make on any PC.

Brand wise it doesn't really matter. It's what the company decides to use for components. With that being said

    • Build your own PC. If you don't know how find a friend or watch some youtube videos. I usually buy my parts from newegg.com
    • Or check out Costco. You can get a pretty good deal and they include extra warranty/tech support. Paying for the membership is worth it if you don't already have one https://www.costco.com/concierge-two-plus-two-warranty.html
    • Now if you can afford it, get a MacBook or MacBook Pro. Always check out the refurbished section and use any student discounts you may be able to use.
Honestly, it doesn't seem like you even need a computer. Based off what you said you would do fine with an iPad.

Honestly if you are just browsing and uploading photos a cheap windows laptop will do. You dont need a 1k rig to browse the internet. I paid $800 for a low-end windows gaming laptop in 2013 and it's still holding up fine.

Nothing beats a Mac you can just buy a virtualization software (Parallels Fusion) and install windows or any other operating system you need all simultaneously without the need of rebooting your system,

I have seen a good deals in the last few weeks in Daily steals if you don’t mind to buy refurbished

The only good choice I see from them:
    https://www.dailysteals.com/product...aphics-515-m3-laptop-2016?variant=72645476367

I still have one of this for the kids and upgraded wit a SSD and is faster than any PC

    https://www.dailysteals.com/product...b-hard-drive-dvd-superdrive-wi-fi-bluetooth-1

    Full list

    https://www.dailysteals.com/search?page=1&q=Macbook+

But if you have the extra bucks I highly recommend you this one with my eyes closed.

No tax and free shipping and you are buying a forever machine like our Tundras

Completely disagree. You can buy a 2.5" SSD with about 500gb for under $100, and startup and response times drop drastically. Dollar for dollar the best upgrade on a consumer PC.

My daughter went through 2 MacBooks while at UCI. Serious issues with both. Campus had Apple store. Super high prices, crappy service. Cost me a small fortune but she had to have an Apple like all her friends..No thanks...

Haven't been to Fry's since 2004. At one time it was THE only place to get decent motherboards, video cards, bulk memory, towers, pwr supplies, etc. Pretty much everything you needed to build a decent computer. Things change apparently...hopefully Fry's is still decent. Was a fun place to shop..

I have 2 MacBook Pros, 1 MacBook Air, 2 iPad Pros, 1 iPhone 8+, and 2 iPhone X’s; I’ll never consider any thing else. Everyone has their own opinions and experiences, but for me, the only decision would be which Apple product to buy. Oh, and 2 apple tv’s.

I don’t use my laptops much anymore since getting the iPad Pros, but yesterday I opened one of them up and everything worked as it did the last time I touched it. It’s just been sitting there plugged in for probably 4 months (powered on). No errors on the screen, no adware, no blue screen of death, none of that bs you get with windows machines.
