Hello all, been a proud Tundra owner for last 5 years. Currently on my second one. Been reading the forums around here for a little while and I notice this place is bad for my wallet. That being said, finally bit the bullet and decided to have some work done on my truck. Figured I would show it and maybe spark some conversations.

Recently (2 months ago), had a 6" RC lift put on with 20x12 Fuel rims and Amp 35s.

I absolutely love the look. Created some "driving" issues but working on those and still would do it again even though I know what's to come. Some of them I knew I would have, some I wasn't expecting. So just throwing this out there for anyone looking at similar setup

    For me those issues were:
    - The shakes - for whatever reason between 45-55 MPH, this thing likes to shake like crazy, otherwise smooth. Took it back to shop that did the original work, had the tires rebalanced, not much better.
    - Rubbing - I have cut and cut molding off the back of the front bumper and still rubs. Just haven't went back to cut more since last time
    - Gas mileage - of course i knew this was coming, getting about 12.5 on average and that's highway, albeit stop and go sometimes
    - Braking - I learned day one, give yourself extra space. Maybe I just needed new pads anyways, but if that was the case, this just put an exclamation point on it

Anyways, here's some pics. Can't wait to do more research and more MODS!

As for the shaking, are your tires road force balanced? Did you put the carrier bearing spacers?

Not sure about the road force balance as I dropped it off and picked it back up. I just looked and it does not have the spacer in there, however, a friend of mine (who is a lot more mechanically inclined than I am) said that he didn't think the angle was enough to need one.
