Rudy's has some great BBQ in the "Springs". I always bring back a bottle of their BBQ sauce for my own use.

From your build thread it looks like you went with the Aluminzed exhaust. Was debating between that and the SS. Would like to not spend the extra money, but didn't know how the Aluminzed holds up around Colorado. Thoughts on how yours is doing? Would you still go that route or better to spend the extra on the SS?

I wish I just spent the extra for ss. I painted it but it’s rusting at all the welded joints

Thanks. Guess I'll shell out for the SS. Trying to do things the right way, but it's hard when it's always more expensive... So many things I want to do to the truck...

Good luck! It’s a nice drive. Some sand at first (if headed west to east) and only 1 tight spot with a boulder.

Watch out if you’re going south on 25/dry creek near the tech center. Motorcyclist probably drt, cpr in progress and lots of people pulled over. Looks like he hit both sides of the highway. Dude nearly brushed our fender smoking through traffic, waving his hands yelling at people...not good. Hope he didn’t hurt anyone else.

Should be nice up there. Labor Day weekend was a bit crowded. Lots of Jeeps. Lots...

It was a blast!!! Yes lots of Jeep's but we were one of the Jeep's also. The wife got a JL Rubicon and wanted to see how it would do in the sand.

Some sand but nothing bad. The boulder area wasn't bad for us. We did see a TRD PRO come through which was sweet.

Had to back up because of a Chevy pulling a trailer with a razor on it. I think he might have been lost but... The game warden was driving a new 3500 Ram. One of the big suckers. He said it's a real tight fit at alot if place.

My property is near Ft Garland. Maybe 5 miles to town. I always hit the Great Dunes when I'm there. Nice area.

After hunting season I plan on dealing with access to my property. Won't be ready until next spring. Need to get some permits to place a culvert and get my access road graded so I can drive onto the property again. Minor details. Gives you till next spring to get ready.

Perfect. That also means I won’t have to deal with the cold as my runner has no heater currently

Property is over 8000ft. Can get a bit cool in the winter. At least the beast wouldn't overheat....

Know where I can get a 2ft diameter corrugated steel culvert? Used OK. Maybe 8+ft long? New one is like 5 bills easy.
