    There's good news, and there's bad news:

    Good news = I just accepted a job today that will pay right at what I'm making now with at least 20 fewer hours a week

    Bad news = it's retail

    I'll be Store Manager at the AT&T store in Dillon. I've elevated my salary $10,000 higher than her most tenured store manager (she has 5 stores) and have negotiated my commission structure and raise schedule to match my current salary.

    More good news: it's not corporate BS any longer!! And, I have a consistent schedule with no more phone calls late at night

    More bad news: it's f-ing retail for the first time in over 20 years.....
    I needed to make a move before I got caught with my pants down, and I can continue to search while I'm running this crew

    I'm not thrilled, but it'll be a seamless transition financially. I still have a little potential to grab another gig early 2018 that has a much more promising future, but that will need to be addressed a little later.
