yeah, especially when it is not in my nature to get that way. It runs in my family, none of us can take codeine based meds. Thank the pharmacy company for ibuprofen, works wonders for me!

You're lucky, when I sprained my shoulder last fall I was taking probably 3 Ibu every 4 hours and 2 Alleve a day to keep it manageable. But I'll take pain over not being in control of my mood any day.

    Aight fellas and ladies!

I might have some bad news shortly. It's not a done deal yet but there's a very good chance I'm about to lose my job. My boss, his boss, and his boss are going to war with Human Resources this week trying to keep me from losing, but I'm in a battle with HR over the amount of tickets I've received over the past year. This has officially been the worst 18 months of my life and distractions have been running rampant. My tickets are the final straw but my offices have lost 2 managers and my only peer left is pretty much worthless, putting me in a position of doing 3.5 people's jobs and just when they authorize a third........HIRING FREEZE. I've been lobbying for another peer at my level for 18 months and finally decided on a guy! I tell you guys this because my personal lifE has taken a beating along with work.

My work truck is being picked up tomorrow and I've officially lost driving privileges. Thereis no other opportunity for transfer where I live, so basically I'm out of a job if it's not overturned.

Anyway, if anyone knows of a good paying management position open anywhere then you'll get nothing but kudos for sending me their way.

Also, finances will be wrecked and I have 3 kids that need to eat so IF it goes the way that I'm hoping it doesn't I'll be looking to sell stuff. If you know of something you want or need off of my truck then shoot me a PM. Ihave lots of stuff that isn't truck related as well so if you're in need then please let me know. I probably have it.

I wish I could say this was a joke, but it's not.

Any field will work at this point. I'm pretty good at anything i engage in. I just need face time and someone to vouch for me. I have a ton of management experience and I've been in a plethora of industries.

    Recently it's been mostly telecom.

They found 3 tickets in the past 3 years and are cutting me off. I have an appointment with my lawyer on Friday to see if their calculations are legit.

    I don't even have a suspended license!!

Well, that blows. I lost a job a couple of years back and took me over a year to find a new one. I can totally relate to the potential stresses that might come out of this. I'll keep an ear open.

It's only like 10 or less, which yes, that's A lot. But, my license is not suspended so it's more of a corporate deal.

There are plenty of positions in CO available but only in Denver. There might be a move in my future if I have a difficult time looking

Can any of the 10 points be reduced, or have they already been reduced?

The speeding tickets were reduced at time of issuance to 2 points each. Improper lane change was coming up Kenosha Pass and a semi was driving slow. As I came around him I passed a govt employee and he turned me in. I crosses a dashed line and right before I merged back over it ran out. I wasn't pulled over for 20+miles but was dealing with the divorce so I just paid it as to just make it go away.

I'm hiring my lawyer to counsel me on how to fight that one in retrospect. If it still cannot be done then it's at least showing AT&T that I'm fighting to keep my job and not just lay down and wait for the bus

I think it does in any industry. I had two tickets while at my last job, one in the work truck the other in mine. When I started this job my boss said I couldn't get one for a year or he'd have to let me go.

Mine could care less. I travel for work about once a month. Got a ticket in TX while on the job. They didn't even know except the coworker with me and whoever we told back at the office.
If my drivers license was actually suspended then they would probably figure something out different for travel but they wouldn't let me go over it.

It absolutely does with AT&T. DIRECTV it did not. Here's the issue i have.....most of you guys know my story, and what's at stake. I have a tech that i was trying to fire last week for theft of company money. He clocked in for 6 days while only completing 1 install on one of those days. His truck was in the shop for the remaining time. He stole not only $26 /hr x 40 regular hours, but another 10 in OT (1 1/2 x regular). I went to bat against him for this theft (for numerous reasons) but was only able to give him a 5 day suspension (vacation). Now, with everything i have at stake i could lose my job for a few tickets. My issue, if not already apparent, is based on how a unionized employee gets away with stealing all this money but i could potentially lose my job because i'm not in the union. It's horse shit!!
