My summers only have 6k in them. Still plenty of tread. I wanted some all season ones so I can be safer driving in these cold temps. I grabbed the Michelin Pilot Sport 4’s

Makes sense and good buy. My Corvette tires had a warning to not drive under 43*. They did get pretty slick under 40*.

Lol yep. I think the summers rates for 42*. I’ve done it in snow- and I made it but don’t want these tires cracking!

Wonder if it has to do with my location. I had to pick a place in pueblo for install which was a extra $27 per tire since they said I can't have them delivered to my location. Big O is 1200 and change. I'm glad I got tires on my tacoma 2 years ago, same tires now are almost 2k after tax and install.

Lol, what's up, amigo? We were collaborating on Taco World a few years back on fishing and tuning. I sold the taco, built a sprinter, sold the sprinter, now back in the Yota world.

Agreed. It’s such a huge waste of tax payer money, as well. The classic, Denver/Boulder/Fort Collins people voting for the whole state…

But with that said, I am so tired of hearing the all the complaints how people don’t feel safe in the mountains anymore o_O While they are apex predators, it’s just an unreasonable fear to think they will start swiping people left and right…lol

Yep^^^^^ Not widely known by the tree huggers who voted for this nonsense.......
"Two wolves released on Dec. 19 in Grand County came from a pack that Oregon officials said preyed on livestock in the last two years."

I've heard through gossip channels that we were told from Oregon that the wolves we were getting were supposed to be none from those packs known to be part of predation packs against livestock. Doesn't surprise me that Oregon dumped their bad seeds upon us though.

I'm not worried at all about them attacking us. It's the tax problem we created that bothers me most. If they start taking livestock we pay the ranchers tax dollars for their loss.

People in the mountains, especially grand and summit, are concerned though because we live here and didn't support this. If the wolves were dropped in Ned the voters in boulder would be shitting themselves. I do realize it's a done deal now though and we have to just accept that the clowns in the front range dictate through mass how our tax resources are managed though. Part of becoming the new CA I guess.

The major complaint is not getting taken away by a wolf lol. The problem is wolves like to kill the ranchers calves. A coworker's relative has a 4000 acre ranch not far from Steamboat. Lot's of cattle and a big elk herd. Wolves also prey on elk calves. Those folks were already having issues with the existing wolves.

Exactly^^^ and then we taxpayers have to pay the ranchers for their loss. It's not about about fear of our own lives. It's about managing the tax burden.

No, I totally agree with you. And that is my main concern is well.

My comment was more along the lines of how many people that are irrationally afraid of themselves being attacked. It’s a fairly common sentiment in my circles. I feel as though most of these people are completely out of touch with what the real risks are and only focused on themselves.

EDIT: My circles are largely out of touch millennials. Maybe I shouldn’t be so surprised. Lol

This millennial isn't afraid of a wolf attack, but I am totally using the situation as an excuse for a new 10mm.

Yep. RCMP's preferred handgun round is 10mm. Quite the norm "up there".

I love it. This will be the new norm of people and their hiking attire when hiking in CO. You know for safety.
