I've had the oysters once at the Buckhorn. Once was enough. Didn't suck but I'd rather eat parts that don't hang around......

Thinking its time to part with my OEM tow mirrors. Would prefer to sell them locally. I am in Colorado Springs. They were off my 2009. Look like they are original, dated 2008. Have some scuffs, but no cracks that I recall (took pics and didn't see any). They are heated and power adjusting. I added little corner mirrors for more coverage beside the truck in traffic. Let me know if anyone is interested. Otherwise I will put them on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace. Was thinking $200? Let me know what seems fair if I am way off. Cheers!

Would they work for a 2012? I'm new to the tundra world and am not sure if all 2nd generation parts are interchangeable

Aurora is getting pretty nice nowadays, the "Rock" is everyone's dumping grounds now, but the Rock does have the outlet stores that we in Aurora can only dream about .....

50 year old houses near our medical center that were maybe $225K a few years ago are now going over $325K. Some are going for $400K a few blocks away from the medical center. 50+ year old homes!

Easy on the Aurora folks. Some of us have class and others live up to the reputation. There are nice areas in Aurora that us less fortunate folks like to visit For Halloween and other holidays. I would take the “Rock” any day

I lived in Aurora for 10 years. The conservatory off Hampden. Not to far from Southlands mall which my family loved and we still utilize for its awesome movie theatre. But, There’s no defense for large chunks of Aurora. Some areas up and around Colfax are just plain trash.
And I mean no offense what so ever.

I'm like 10 minutes from Southlands. It's a pretty cool place. Kinda strange it's out in the middle of nowhere.

They are building like crazy out that way. It’s a really nice area. The one thing I’m not a fan of is that you really don’t have a highway other than E470 so getting anywhere requires a lot of congested side roads.

I would agree with you on the side roads. We love living out here, but hate that it's far from the city. Still trying to decide if the lifestyle is worth the distance. It's far from the mountains too which makes me sad.

Castle Rock is nice actually. Just talking some smack. Colfax near the medical center has being going thru a major makeover over the last several years. A huge difference but the traffic is nuts and will get even worse. There are housing units going up all around near me. They are getting ready to break ground on a 14 unit complex a block away. There was a pushback from the neighbors since it's primarily homes. Four blocks away is a new low income housing complex that is almost finished which will add to the traffic. Both elementary schools nearby are already full so I'm not sure how that is going to work out.

I used to golf Fitzsimmons a fair amount. When the hospital was going up and I was working for Xcel Energy we were capping off the gas lines to all the shady ass motels in that area. Man, some of those were shit holes. Aurora has some great things going for it and in fact the housing market is/was hot. When I sold my house in 2015 it sold in 1 hour.
Aurora has made some great strides. There is still pockets of areas that are sketchy as hell but it’s always had its reputation and will be tough to change the outlook of it overnight.
Castle Rock, like everywhere else has its own issues but overall it’s a nice place. They do a lot of “free” events. Huge festivals, movies in the park, free concerts etc. Check their website and bring the boy down. All the rides are free. Of course, COVID has sidetracked a bunch of it.
