Anyone else get the recall notice for the front turn signals & have the work done? Where'd you go? Any issues/improvement?

I had planned to go explore Medano Pass during Labor Day weekend but change of plans. So maybe next time. Let me know how it turns out and take lots of pics of all the cool trails you will be on.

Toyota reversed the wires in the socket to run on the low wattage side of the bulb. The technician will just remove the terminal from 1 point in the connector and move it to the other. It about doubles the brightness. Only a potato could screw it up, the world is full of those though.

You could request some weirdo at Groove Toyota named Brian and it takes about a half hour to an hour by the time the paperwork is done

It was a great trail! I really enjoyed it. A little rock climbing, stream crossings, and lots of sand at the end. It was a fairly diverse run for sure.

Who's your go to online part supplier? I love rockauto, but they won't ship to me because they don't want to have to collect local taxes.

A coworker recently tried to place an order with RockAuto and couldn't because of the local tax issues.

I wonder if it's a city/county level thing. Then again, it could all have changed between when I last ordered something and now. I suppose I'll find out next time I try. Maybe I'll see what happens right now, brb...

City and county tax for sure. The problem is that Aurora is located Adams and Arapahoe County

That must be it, I'm in Eagle County...ordered a cabin filter. I got a confirmation number and they collected $0.67 in taxes. I'm guessing that's for the state.

Centennial is super messed up. I live in east centennial. Nowhere near where the map says centennial is. What’s up with the strange city shapes here anyway? Gerrymandering?

I was going to suggest just that, but didn't know if the cost would be worth it. My non-resident box fee is pretty expensive, >$100 as my residence is not in the same zip code as the PO.

Picked up a very cheap beater / daily driver / grocery getter. It will be registered on Tuesday with new stickers in CO (has my OLD Tundy plates for now for HOA reasons)

It's got a quite a few dents & dings among other cosmetic issues but runs perfectly fine.

Quite the opposite of a Tundra but it'll save me at least $250-300/mo. Tundra fun will resume in 2021 :)

I'll rock the $15/mo gas bill for now. More money saved for mods and Tundra related stuff down the road

Was able to find some 17s and 315s. Not caring for the width but cheap tire are cheap tires. Will go 35x10.5 Kenda in the next couple months. I'll have to whip up a CMC for a very slight rub at times.

Anyone know of a DIY frame plate for sliders so I can build my own but have them bolt on?

Last time there was several years ago. The Guac is crazy good. I've had bison steak, bison ribs, and the bison burger. All great but my favorite was the roasted bison marrow bones. The Fort isn't cheap by any means but a pretty cool place.

    Nice. Good to hear.

We're planning on trying the oysters. I don't know what she's getting, but I'm planning on the bison ribs. We told ourselves we were going for the game meat, not the beef/chicken/etc. We haven't had a nice night out in a very very long time. We don't eat at expensive places that often, but it's a nice thing to do occasionally.

I survived the oysters. They aren't bad. There's a strange tang to them at the end. Not sure if I'll get them again.

Marrow bones next time. Not sure I'll be able to eat beef again after having the buffalo.
