    Some stuff
throwing this out there for those of you that may own a business on the front range, or know someone that might like to take advantage.

i'd like to offer myself up, for free, to shoot a promo video for you. it would be a 60 second film for you to use on your website, facebook and/or instagram pages. again, zero cost to you. i will travel up to a 75 mile radius from downtown denver which covers up to ft collins, out to vail and down to the springs.

i'm up for doing 5 of these.

i need to get my name moving as well as put some fresh work in the portfolio.

if you're interested, please send me an email: sean@slavin-studios.com

    much appreciated.

Headed up that way the 16th - 20th of this month. Gonna hit up Medano Pass, Yankee Boy, and Imogene for sure with the possibility of others. Gonna be in Denver Sunday night and Monday and hanging with @T-Rex266 at Something Brewery Monday afternoon. If anyone wants to run trails Tuesday-Thursday in SW CO or grab a beer Monday afternoon in Brighton you’re more than welcome!

Gonna miss it, again. I leave super early Monday morning. Headed out for another rotation. At least it wont be the desert!

Might be headed down that way in November to check out Palo Duro Canyon.

Man I miss Ft. Collins... Went to CSU there from '90 - '95 but have been living in Albuquerque for 25 years now. I lived in the Courtney Park apartments at the corner of Harmony and Lemay. Back then it was the edge of town. I'll bet it's not any more.

    Sure will.

Check Medano Pass to make sure there have not been any washouts because of the rain. I know it was open.

I will be back on 28 or 29 October, I go into a mandatory 2 week quarantine. If everything goes right itll be mid November'ish. It would be really cool if I could find out when my boys can come home and make the trip with them.

It's the direct # to GSDunes main office. You can get real up to date info. The website is pretty reliable but best to call and talk to a live person. I can finally go down to my property but not headed down that way until Labor Day. My lift will be on by then. Have a nice time while out here Holden!

I'd like to, that's for sure. The original plan was to go down this past May, CV19 kind of changed those plans for us.

Don't know if you made your decision yet, but getting out of DTC is pretty bad. I work in the south end of DTC and live in Arvada, Pre-covid it was a 70 minute drive each way. I think heading south out of DTC is better than north.

Thanks. Yeah, haven't made a decision yet. We're going to rent for another year. We've done the house close to the city, the apartment near a commercial area and, we've done the city apartment thing. We're renting a house in the suburbs now. We'll be in east Centennial for the next year. After that, I think we'll have a good idea of where we want to live. We are concerned that this is going to be really far from stuff we would like to do, but we would like to give it a fair shot.

So far from what we've seen our top neighborhoods, barring price, are Greenwood Village, Englewood, west Centennial, west Aurora.

I'm not sure when my office will be opening again. There was no mention of it in our last all hands meeting, so people are speculating that we'll be WFH for at least the rest of the year. That kind of sucks because the office is supposed to be badass. I've never even seen it.

Traffic is definitely bad all over. West Centennial and west Aurora are good options. Check out north east Aurora east of Gun Club road. A coworker just scored a new home there. I can ask him the name of the development. He did use his VA loan benefit so a low down. All these years I've never used mine but considering it finally but will not buy around here.

The Tundra isn't going for a full off road build now. I'll address some issues and will make it an upgraded daily driver. It makes too much sense to keep the 4runner for 4wheeling due to size and current build level.

1st issue fixed was the front suspension. 2"spacers on the front made all sorts of clunks and rough rides. The shocks weren't blown but had some dampening issues.

I was able to get some Elka Shocks from @Toytec Lifts to help with those issues. I didn't have anything with me to do a thorough cleaning so a broom and hose knocked off the big stuff.

I'll likely pick up an upper control arm in the near future also. My camber was at 0° but the caster was only at 1°45m or 1.75°. Tires must come 1st though due to dry rot and tread depth. Luckily I just replaced the rear Diff/axle in my 4runner so it need break in miles.
