I'm in Arvada, and preferably under a 2 hour drive. I've been to golden canyon state park and that was nice, but prefer more off the grid.

I can't wait to go camping. Got my trailer back from Windish in Longmont yesterday and bought a Furrion back up camera. Kept it on and it was awesome. It only took seven years to figure that out. Being able to see traffic in both lanes behind you is really nice.

Compared to the Tacoma, even with the supercharger, the Tundra is a beast towing the trailer. It's so much easier to relax and maybe even enjoy the driving part of camping. I'm ready to get out of town and I know my wife is as well.

I bought some tequila for margs tonight. I'll wait until 1.5 margs to tell my wife I want RCI sliders for Father's Day.

I need some trail therapy. This whole move has me super wired and angry. The Yankee Hill network seems to be open. I need a trail buddy though. Who wants to come? I'm thinking either next weekend or the weekend after.

Working on installing leather on my 08 4Runner. Just as much work as I anticipated. First cushion is done. Came out pretty good. 20200613_125637.jpg

going up to Loch Lomond is always nice. from there, you can head up and over Kingston peak then down through apex into central city. haven’t been up there in over a year. depending on when you go, I may be able to join you.

I'm thinking week after next. Just want to day trip for now. My tires are nearing the end, so I don't want to be out too far or too long.

out and back to lomond is easy. maybe 6-8 miles round trip. Kingston doesn’t add much more. maybe 4-5hours total depending on how much time you spend at the lake.

Looks like the upper Loch Lomond trail is still closed. Kingston looks like it's still under seasonal closure.

I waited until Sunday night. It was difficult to keep my mouth shut, but marriage and mods are all about timing.

Gotta love Anthony at ToyTec. I will gladly pay him $120 for install. Loveland-Denver-Boulder. Everyone wins and everyone is stimulated.

Pikes peak comunity college has one of the best forestry degree programs in the country. Ask me how I know. The biggest problem is finding a job and if you do try finding a job that pays and isn't an internship. Now I'm an electrician and make a decent living. I wanted a career in the woods with the wildlife protecting the land but you won't find one that pays even halfway decent unless you have a phd in wildlife biology. It's a damn shame that with the wealth and abundance in this country how little monitary value we place one our wild lands natural resources. What I meant to say was as someone who went through that type of program with the best of intentions and came out disillusioned, I wish you the best of luck.
