Definitely have a garage and put you vehicles in there. At the time I had a topper on my truck and it was too tall for the garage.
We had USAA, good but it was expensive because our teenage boys were on there. We have had State Farm for a couple of years and we are happy with them.

I'm assuming that hail damage is covered under most/all comprehensive clauses on policies here?

We have full coverage, roadside assist and a few other things with them. I would recommend the windshield protection as well. Some are inclusive some are additional. Lots of rocks flying around.

I have windshield replacement too. I had the Tundra replaced twice, and my Lexus.

    It’s worth every penny.

The Corolla cost me $0 for glass replacement after hail as it was an “act of god”.

Sorry was in the mountains all weekend. I'm in Probation so there's not much I can do. Try catch him on video then show the police would be my suggestion.

Family used to have a cabin in Jefferson and spent lots of time on Georgia Pass and Mt. Guyot. One time we found a husky that was not doing well. I carried her down Mt. Guyot and tried to find her home. She ended up escaping from a alpine dog sledding in Breckenridge. Was missing for almost 2 months. Great camping in this area too!

The dude showed up again Sunday with a couple other trucks. My landlord thru a rock at them but missed...heh..heh. I think they just might be on video. Better than throwing rocks at them but somewhat fun...

I'd swear that my insurance company (State Farm) told me that in CO full glass was pretty much standard coverage....

I suppose that it's always prudent to ask the agent. Just to be certain.

Thanks for the advice fellas. I think we'll give Auto Owners a call and see what their rates and coverage are, then take it from there.

Seems like State Farm is a popular option around here, so if we decide to switch, we'll start looking there first.

I have a transferflow 46 gallon tank. I tried looking, but nothing mentioned a gas tank visual for emissions certification. Will my aftermarket tank pass?

I use Country Financial and they have great rates and have never had a problem when submitting claims home or auto. I have to pay extra for full glass coverage. Cheap and well worth it.

Once we buy a house, we'll bundle the whole deal. Still not sure where we want to live. I'm pretty far along in an interview process with a company in DTC, so we're waiting to see where I end up, then buy a place based on that.

Anyone on here want to help me install a 42" Diode dynamics lightbar? I am not too confident when it comes to auto electric. The website says plug & play and comes with mounting brackets. Just not sure how to add the lightbar button in the cab etc. Toytec said the no longer install bars they do not sell for liability reasons. Makes sense.

I've only installed one light bar and a few amps, but happy to help.

Separate note, I want to get out and take my kids camping this weekend, relatively new to Colorado, where should we go? Looking for more of a spot where we can throw a tent and sleep than a dedicated campground.

It’s not standard, I as well have State Farm and had my wife call to verify a few months back since we’ve both got expensive windshields. We had to add it...

I’m not sure where you’re stuffing the light bar, but if it’s behind the bumper, I’d consider splitting the job into two parts/days. It’s a bit of work to wire up your new light bar button inside the cab and then run your wiring to a relay in the engine bay. That’s the clean and time consuming part that just takes patience. The next part is removing your bumper and mounting the bar, this is where you get to grunt around. If you’ve already completed the wiring to the relay, all you need to do is wire up your pos and neg from your light bar once it’s mounted (as far as wiring goes). It can all certainly be done in a day, but I’ve found that if you begin with stuffing the light bar first, you find yourself rushing and skimping a bit on the important part (wiring), using taps instead of soldering, etc.

We've got a reservation at the botanical gardens on Saturday. If you'll be working on it on Sunday, I can probably swing by if I'm needed.
