I think Buckhorn has closed... tore it down for a hi-rise... used to be the oldest liquor license in the state Still active

 

I think... can’t verify, but I had a fellow fireman grow up in those projects across the street and they tore the projects down

 

Still there..it's a National Historic Landmark. No one is going to be tearing it down. Oldest continuously operating restaurant in Denver. Yep. oldest liquor license as mentioned. You can order fried bull balls now for take out. Actually not sure about that...

uh. no. i'd die as would the toilet and most of the people in the house. been vegetarian for about 15 years.

 

You gotta hook me up with some restaurants that have good veg dishes. I do prefer to have breaks from meats for a couple of days at a time. I do enjoy a good tempeh.

 

I have made something similar?

It was a PB, banana and bacon sammich cooked like a grilled cheese sammich. So regular white bread, butter on one side of each slice, smeared some PB, mashed bananas and bacon slices cooked over a griddle till it was crispy on the outside.

 

Nope..Elvis flew out here just to eat it. Prolly killed him..

Im by no means a vegetarian but the watercourse is pretty darn amazing!
