Anyone tried these overlay grill surrounds for color matching their front end? Supposedly they just stick on and cover your existing chrome grill. Seems sketchy but their price sounds like they think it's quality.

    Alot of them
You will be much happier doing it the right way and buying the color matched stuff. Also, that price is already half-way to the legit grille and bulge.

Yup, do what he said. Something’s are better off being done right. And it will be OEM.

It's good. I'm doing my front bumper ends eventually. There is a whole thread on here where members are posting their use of the product.

I watched a video from Ecological's BumperShellz and they simply did not seem to fit well enough to justify the cost. To the person who stated your already in for half the cost of actual Toyota color matched grill and guard is 100% correct and it seems pointless. In defense of BumperShellz I did install there covers on my bumper endcaps and they fit and held up amazingly well. But again, the cost of those was very reasonable while these seem a tad absurd.

I haven't tried bumpershellz or any other product....yet. My first purchase to begin my chrome delete, however, will be OEM mirror caps(i ordered it last night). I have searched far and wide and have seen many different products. Personally I feel better paying the extra coin and buying OEM when possible. There is a mirror and door handle set on Amazon being sold by HACASA as super white 040. A lot of the reviews say they are not super white, they are actually pearl white. All this to say be careful and make sure wherever you purchase has a good return policy and you can get you $ back easily.

These are made by us, in Rocklin, CA. There's nothing sketchy about these guys, they just sell our parts on eBay, which isn't an issue for us.

I'm curious to know which video you watched. When we shot the most recent grille surround video, they went on perfectly. If you're referring to the Hood Bulge video featuring the Super White Tundra, I actually got in contact with one of my neighbors (hadn't met him before, but we have a VERY tight knit Facebook community) and he hasn't messaged me saying they fell off or anything of that nature.

I've attached a photo of the finished truck here.

Being "half-way" to the price of the OEM is the whole point of what we're doing. You look baller on a budget. That way you have more money for all the other awesome crap you're gonna do to your truck. We just wanna keep ya'll outta the doghouse and off the couch

Unfortunately we usually only group buys for new products or new colors. Army Green got the GB treatment because it's a new color we've never done before!
