Color Matched Bumper Covers

but I do think the black bumpers would look nice.

I had color match rear bumper corners, and covered them with the bumpershellz for an all black bumper.

I'll probably need to get the warden, 'er I mean the wife, involved and get her opinion on black or color matched....

 

Well, I PMed @EC1 and emailed his website and never heard back.
I guess he isn't too eager to sell me a set of bumper end covers..

 

I don’t think there is much manpower in the shop, give him a chance to answer.
The product is worth the wait.

 

I had the same experience before I was able to get a hold of him on the phone. Once I did, they went above and beyond. He had me stop by the shop after hours on a Friday to pick up. I believe they are a small family owned business.

 

I'll try calling them today.
I just need to know the difference between the acrylic and painted MGM covers.
I'm guessing the acrylic is more of a molded color like the black textured TPO.

She was very helpful.
But I'm wondering if this would be the way to go..
You're right about the cost and the wait time.
Also if one gets damaged it would be cheaper to replace...

 

whichever route you decide, it will be the correct one. My truck always stands out from others in a parking lot. I’d say 90% have the chrome bumpers.

 

I finally had the wife look at your pics and asked her if she liked painted or black for my truck.
She likes the black ends better, I'm surprised.
She is the queen of design, color matching, and organization..

So black it is.

It's true! We work with a skeleton crew. The only person who monitors these forums is me, the social media manager. My boss Grant and his dad, the owner of the company, are usually working on new products or making sure we can continue to serve fellow truck advocates.

Yup, family-owned AND operated. We do have employees like myself and most of people in the warehouse/manufacturing floor but the family members that work here are very hands-on.

Been dodging the 'rona for years and I'm STILL dodging it to this day, but some other bug and then bronchitis took me out...

 

I ordered a set of front bumper shells in army green back in mid December still haven't seen them hopefully they'll show up soon been over a month

No worries. It still has to go through our system. Found your order and it looks like they are at our paint facility a few miles up the highway.

Part Pros should have had some language that painted parts take 4-6 weeks to ship out. It doesn't matter now, we unfortunately had to sunset the program with our third party sellers because y'all just ate up the painted parts and we simply couldn't keep up. It's a good problem to have, but not when it's impossible to hire a second painter

We try to make sure there are no runs like this. If you had told us before install, we'd ask you to send it back for us to fix.

Totally understandable... They say patience is a virtue, but vices are more fun. I've let our warehouse manager and his boss know about this, so we can hopefully avoid this happening to others. Quick question, are your caps replacement or just sit on top of the existing bumper caps?

 

They're not replacements, but they don't "just sit". You'll use existing hardware to help adhere them to the bumper. They also employ 3M tape and adhesion promoter. We've had customers come back to us over 7 years later and tell us their Shellz are STILL on their truck, so there's really no telling how long these will last, but the future is bright. The parts also contour a bit to wrap around the edges of the installation areas to both hide chrome and add a little extra support to stay adhered.

Thank you for the explanation, I just got a bad rock chip on my cap, and the touch up looks kinda wack so debating if this will fit the bill, does the caps come with holes for parking sensors? or do these only work on stock bumper with the chrome caps?

 

Yup! We make them with or without parking sensors. Our parts are designed to go over the OEM Bumper. If you have an aftermarket bumper, there's a chance our product won't fit.

What kind of caps do you have? I can run this question by our tech team.

 

Just stock bumper that's painted from factory.

 

So that's most likely plastic, and unfortunately, our parts won't be compatible with the plastic ones.
