Ok so I have until Saturday to finalize my purchase at the dealer. Currently reserved a 2018 CM Limited with Premium package in midnight black metallic. They have the same exact truck as far as model, price, and options in cement. I like the midnight black because it looks great with all the chrome, I just worry about keeping it clean. I feel like cement would be easier to maintain since it’s closer to silver which shows less dirt. Suggestions or ideas are appreciated, especially from those who own either color. Is it that hard to keep the black clean? Any paint issues with normal car washes? Thanks in advance.

I went with Cement. I’m way to OCD to have a black truck. I also think the Cement is the best color they offer, but I’m biased. One benefit to black is that paint matched pieces are typically cheaper if you decide to get rid of the chrome.

I’m also very OCD. One of the many reasons I’m up worrying about this right now lol.

Just keep in mind that black is the color of tar and cement is ... well, cement. Neither is fast.

Cement. Easier to keep clean, won’t be as hot, wont show every scratch, and is more unique.

3-1 level kit with add a leaf. 295/70/18r cooper max. Spider head light tail light and third brake light, tint, badges off, ladder racks, trd pro grill, color matched hood bulge, grab handle, coach builder +2, dv8 front bumper with winch, fender flares, bed cover....
I test drove a limited black whatever color and it looks ridiculously clean. Cool sparkles in the paint. But I work construction and get into dirt a lot so wouldn’t be a great choice. The cement might be the way to go.

Cement just looks sooo good when it's all cleaned up, and it doesn't ever look really dirty. I get tons of compliments on it as well.

Fact cement is easier to clean an looks cleaner longer, I have had a black truck in the past and currently own cement tundra.

In my opinion black and chrome looks good, cement and chrome not so much. If you go with cement do you want to color match, more money.

    Good Luck

    Cement.

Black and White are all over. Cement is different. Looks bad ass with blacked out emblems. Not as noticable when dirty or minor scratches.

    Cement vote here.

I have owned two black trucks and several darker colors.

Black is my favorite color on a vehicle, but keeping it clean is a nightmare especially if the truck is not stored inside a garage.

Love the way black looks but wouldn’t want to take care of it. Plus the cement is unique and a nice color. Go cement.

Cement! I thought it wouldn't look good with chrome, but it grew on me and I actually like the contrast much more than I would with black.

I honestly believe in Tundra quality. This is the truck that my Realtor purchased on our recommendation. This is a sweet Limited. We were on dirt roads all day.
