My 2015 started making a strange slapping(plastic) noise coming from what seems like the low center of dash under the heater controls. This is the coldest it's been outside since getting the truck. I can count the number of "slaps" 4 to be exact almost sounds like a door is opening/closing. After that it's fine no noise.

    Any ideas? Similar noises?

If its a slapping noise from under the dash upon startup and it goes away then it is probably something do do with the heater vent doors that swap between heat and ac. Probably some kind of system check upon startup but there might be an interference or something broke with yours. Coworkers Nissan Frontier has a similar problem and he thinks the door is stuck. It is extremely loud and lasts 5 seconds or so.
Cant help with a fix. If under warranty might go get it checked out.

I'll have to get some video. After more monkeying around I found that I can get it to make noise by manipulating the temperature and zone control, ie defrost, floor etc. Even if the truck is warm.
