Been in a cold snap here, the only pitfall for the truck is the driver window slowly creeps going down and going up isn't any faster.

unusually cold here in North Carolina, snowing right now. Frigin forgot since moving from Colorado to put non-freeze windshield wiper fluid in….all froze now and why put the dam tank for it right up front by the grill…..kinda dumb.

-20 in Western MA this morning. Plugging the tractor in here in a couple minutes so I can clear up the town dump for container pick up later. Fingers crossed it gets going!

The remote start shouldn’t be an issue. I use mine in -50.

So I saw your post yesterday and got thinking hmm how cold is -40 in Celsius exactly. And now I know it is the same as -40 F. Thank you for the opportunity to learn this fun fact haha.

Every truck ever has done and will do this. The windows will freeze shut. The mirrors won't fold. The tailgate won't open. The bed cover will freeze. Sometimes the doors can even freeze shut. Welcome to winter. Park inside, park in the sun, stay home, and it that doesn't work, be patient.

Just helped a friend load a chop saw and stand into their f-250. Guess what was frozen and had to be jerked back and forth a bit to open? Unless garage kept, the winter will strike everyone!

Tractor door lock was iced and I nearly broke my hand getting it open. Just the season.

I'm having the same issue with my driver side mirror sticking. Kind of frustrating.

Remote started mine yesterday and when I came out it was making a weird noise. It kinda sounded like a siren in the distance. Rising and falling in volume. Good news, when unlocked the doors, the sounds went away! No noise when I restarted the truck, chalk it up to the 4 degrees it was outside.

Discovered it wouldn’t remote start because it thought the vehicle was in use since the tailgate was unlatched but wouldn’t open. I tried to push it back in to show closed but wouldn’t work when it was -20’s. All good now put some lube on gaskets truck is happy. I’m happy
