    X a LOT.

K&N intake was the worst thing I did to my last truck. Oil gets sucks in and clogs the MAS. That fucks up the injectors. I'll never buy another K&N product.

I will say this...I did buy a S&B CAI, BEFORE I joined on here, to date, no issues I see no increase on MPGs, HP, just more rumble in engine and out the tailpipes

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
    Welcome from GA!
If you do want one other than the TRD; IMO, Check out S&B or K&N. Like @aramirez73 noted tho, they're not necessary.
Without ram air, turbos or SC, functionality is debatable. They can add some good sounds under the hood.

Check the search bar on here. There's several threads (some recent) about CAIs, and a ton of other DIY/mods you might find as better options to spend your money on.

I have a K&N CAI and really enjoy it. No M.A.F. codes. Just sounds damn good.

I have both TRD intake and exhaust. I love the sound the combo makes.

I did notice that transmission shift points have changed. Especially with the intake, the engine revs higher before shifting.

MPG? I don't pay too much attention to it anymore after Trail Grappler. It's a bit painful to look at. But it's a lot of fun to drive.

Does anyone have a link for the intake air flow accelerator that fits a 2007 SR5 5.7? The one posted above says it does not fit my year, guessing it’s a 3rd generation link? And is there a big difference in k&n high performance compared to the k&n drop in filters? I initially thought they were the same filter but the high performance costs about $25-30 more and it has a different part number from what I see. Just didn’t want to get taken for a ride on a filter that’s the same but someone blustered up the “high performance” to get more money.

Disregard the link for an 07. Found one in Indiana. Purchased.

    Welcome Rick.

This is one of the more common questions. Give it a search on here.

Short answer is: no preformance improvements, they look great though.

I have the S & B and it looks good. Sounds good. Not really any noticeable hp gain.
