I added one tube of shudder fixx from Amazon and the problem was gone in less than 100 miles. I added a second tube for good measure. I’m around 5500 miles later and still haven’t had the issue pop up. If you’re not a car guy, it’s kind of a pain to put in, but you can YouTube videos of how to add transmission fluid and it’s the same principle. I bought a plastic tube on Amazon and cut it to size and ran it down the side of the engine one weekend morning while engine was cool, jacked it up and put the tube in the tranny etc. Had to buy an odd size socket for the tranny plug if I remember correctly. It’s not difficult. Use jack stands before getting under vehicle, don’t rely on a jack.

Original poster and my '07 Limited 4x4 hasn't hiccuped since. Going on 289k miles now. Whiteknuckled 7 hour trip last year around 3 months after fixes and still fine. Make same trip next week and relaxed. Check out whole thread. It is unlikely two solenoids would fail, but somewhere along the way it got fixed. Replaced solenoids, fluid, etc. No issues since.

@dusdau I also have '07 but not 4x4 and it has the same 2 codes with 199k miles. Do you have the procedure for refilling tranny fluid to get the right level? I am not a mechanic but know how to turn a wrench. The dealer is saying to replace the tranny because of the TSB...from 2007. o_O

A shop told me the same thing. Another factor is those transmissions basically aren't available anymore the last I heard. The video in the link below is probably the most straight forward. Note how he runs the old fluid through at least twice. He doesn't really show it. Then what is important but he doesn't point out (maybe he just knows from experience) but the "drain to trickle" part at around the 7:05 to 7:23 mark the fluid need to be at 115-125 degrees F. I used an infrared thermometer gun by quickly removing plug and putting red dot from gun on fluid and replacing plug. Then it seems like if you don't have towing you don't have the thermostatic valve to worry about. Also, the fill plug can be a PIA. The style sucks. I replaced with a plug with another type of head. I used Valvoline and then LubeGard additive instead of the Lucas one in the video. Hopefully YouTube link works. Good luck.

Does anyone have the correct wiring diagram for 2012 Toyota Tundra limited flex fuel 4x4 transmission shift solenoids and pressure control solenoid. The one that I got off this forum doesn’t match. The diagram says it’s for 2012 but my SLT solenoid pins don’t match the print.
