All I see in those photos is my wife divorcing me but wow that thing is .

So you seem like you know your stuff. What do you think I would need to do to run a 35 inch tire with 20s on a 3/1 lift? Im not worried about trimming back plastic.... Im open to any offset on the wheels. Its an sr5, bone stock.

Yea he's ( the truck ) a labor of love! Its been a fun journey building it!

It really depends how far you want to stretch the limits. If you want to play it safe you can do pretty much any 20x9 with 5 - 5.75 BS which is generally +1 to +25ish. You can run a 295-60-20 and that has a nice profile to it. If you're open to more trim you can do a 35-11.50-20! Something like the Nitto Ridge Grappler! Now, I'm gonna tell you; if the budget permits, do a set of coilovers rather than something like a 3/1 level. But there's nothing wrong with that if you have to do it to keep you off the couch!

Probably going to stick with 3/1. Id love to go coil overs, I just don't see that anywhere in the budget anytime soon!
If I were to go with the nittos and somewhere in the +18 offset range, what trimming would be involved?

I wouldn't even mind in going in the direction of a reasonable 3" suspension lift if that would help?

really just depends on your plans for the truck.. if your just gonna drive her.. a spacer lift will suffice. but if you have any plans to offroad a lot, go coilovers. that being said @Kh328 offroads the shit outta her spacers.. so really just depends on how much you wanna spend!

I just traded in a rubicon that was on 37s for the Tundra. My off-roading days are behind me for now until I find more time. Im just building it to look good for me while I drive to lowes!

Look into something like the Bilstein 6112's, Fox 2.5's, King 2.5's, or the Icon 2.5's. These will all get you 3-3.5 inches when you put a set of UCA's on. It's a more versatile way to build the truck and you're only tearing it down 1 time. Then go with either a AAL or shackles for the rear. AAL is a better, but shackles will work if that's all you do in the rear.

I got a JAMMIN ass customers truck coming in next week that i'll showcase on whats all being done to it and its wife approved! He had decided to go Kings but we collectively agreed that the 6112/5160 setup is perfect for what he's doing with the truck.

man for the sake of comfort, do the bilsteins and coachbuilder is having a group buy on shackles right now that can save you some cash too. that would be a solid, bullet proof setup and for a damn good price. probably not but a couple hundred more than a spacer lift but muuuuch more reliable!!

When I bought my truck at Johnson City Toyota the salesman(his name was Van) showed me his 4 runner that had CMC. It looked clean. I don’t remember the name of the shop though.

Heck yes I do! They have been awesome. Now that being said....I will upgrade to coilovers in the future so I can get a slightly higher lift but I want to add 35s too lol

Stock as yet. New to me!
Just bought my first Tundra, in Elizabethton here. The Inferno ‘17 sitting up at Friendship Ford. Can’t wait to get some time off and paint the front grill and caps to match. I’m looking at burning up the rest of the tread life on my current tires and upgrading the whole stance later. Probably will stay stock or very similar to it for lift, and max out my rim/tire size, then throw in some wheel lighting (red) which will look good I’m hoping against the truck color. Either way, congrats on your ride! I’m headed back outta town for a few weeks, but maybe I’ll be able to meet up with you sometime to see how you end up with your customization.
