Does anyone have any insight if doing the CMC or "Norcal Tuck" will void frame warranties? My truck is lifted 4" and I went way aggressive on the offset, the tires kiss the fender/cab mount at full lock. It is drivable, but I have to be conscious of it when turning sharply. Thanks in advance.

    It doesn't.

They have to prove whatever problems you're having or part you're getting fixed under warranty was caused by whatever mod you did.

My fear with that would be that Toyota have much deeper pockets than the average "Joe" to fund an argument from an expert witness or similar to conclude that corrosion was caused by compromised by performing the mod?

Well, yea, if you get corrosion around where you cut the frame at the body mount, you can't expect that to be covered. Corrosion elsewhere on the frame should still be covered.

So basically, just go for it and make sure its sealed up and painted/properly? I refuse to go any smaller on tire, and I enjoy still having a happily usable truck with me 4" kit

Correct. A solid prime/paint job would suffice but you can go overboard with a clear top-coat or straight up POR-15 it.

The more that loops, the funnier it gets!

I've seen it done very cleanly, but just the thought of cutting any bit of my brand new truck makes me cringe lol. I'll definitely be going overboard living in ohio with all of the salt we have on the roads
