    CLOSED

For those requesting this before summer rolls in

I contacted the same vendor as the previous times and is down for another one.

If the group size you want isn't available, please put your request in!

    Here we go guys!

    Northstar battery group buy!

This one took me forever to get started. I tried contacting Excide, they expressed NO interest in this. I contacted Optima and they pretty much ignored my constant requests for a discount. I couldn't get a vendor to provide discounts on Odyssey.

Northstar, on the other hand replied and directed me to a distributor that's more than willing to work with me with this one.

For those that are only familiar with Optima, here is a little more information from Northstar:

    http://www.northstarbattery.com/1/2/3.php

Here are the group sizes PER Toyota's website:

    Group size sizing:

The groups sizes that will be included in this group buy are:

    24, 24M, 24F, 27, 27F, 34/78, 31M and 35

    See more here:

    http://buy.northstarbattery.com/

Please make sure to do your research here:

    http://www.northstarbattery.com/northstar/engine/literature.php

    and here:

    http://www.fourwheeler.com/how-to/154-1303-battery-bashing/

    So what is the discount?

1-10 batteries ordered, regardless of type:

    24F/24 MAP of $299 - $19 off
    24M MAP of $314.99 - $19 off
    27F/27 MAP of $339 - $19 off
    35 MAP of $269 - $14 off
    31M MAP of $379 - $34 off
    34/78 MAP of $299 - $19 off

11-20 batteries ordered, regardless of type:

    24F/24 MAP of $299 - $29 off
    24M MAP of $314.99 - $29 off
    27F/27 MAP of $339 - $34 off
    35 MAP of $269 - $29 off
    31M MAP of $379 - $59 off
    34/78 MAP of $299 - $29 off

21+ batteries ordered, regardless of type:

    24F/24 MAP of $299 - $45 off
    24M MAP of $314.99 - $45 off
    27F/27 MAP of $339 - $49 off
    35 MAP of $269 - $40 off
    31M MAP of $379 - $69 off
    34/78 MAP of $299 - $45 off

We don't need to achieve every tier level for every battery group. The tier level is per quantity, regardless of how many batteries per group get ordered.

So if there is a total of 16 people signed up (ASSume, one battery per person), your discount is:

    24F/24 MAP of $299 - $29 off
    27F/27 MAP of $339 - $34 off
    35 MAP of $269 - $29 off

FREE SHIPPING TO CONUS (ALASKA, HAWAII AND CANADA - will be custom shipping quotes) for ALL TIER LEVELS

How do I sign up? Here!

If you are on the fence to see if it’ll go up to max discount before you jump in, you are HOLDING the group buy back. Don’t be that dude.

I'm curious to know if all the guys on this list are using this for their cranking batteries in their trucks or deep cycle applications in either (car stereo/rv/boat etc) since theres quite a few group sizes available?

Good deal, I was gonna say there is not a whole lot of advantage to having one for a cranking application. I've been in the battery business almost 20 years and even tho its not my brand its hard to talk bad about a Northstar. Quality product from the ones I've ran across.

Excuse the ignorance, I'm trying to look online but for someone who's not running a dual battery setup yet but wants a good battery for some lights, compressor, subwoofer, etc what's recommended? Just go with the 27f? Stick with stock until I can manage a dual setup? I'm a battery noob

I would stick with stock until you manage a dual setup.

IF you choose a bigger battery, you will need to research if it will fit in your tray, work with your battery hold down and cables AND be able to close the hood without the studs hitting it.

I run a 34R. But I also have two more batteries in the bed.

You could run 31R. Its a tight fit, but lots of guys have installed them. Make sure its an AGM battery, preferably Marine grade

You should all have shipping notices. If not, check your spam or email vendor.
