    LOL. I had the g2 before, I was happy with it for 12 years on my Tacoma. The MX is a matte black and can support 400lbs and g2 is shinier black and supports 300lbs. I used to walk on top of my g2 all the time. But I'm also only a buck 25. I didn't think it was worth the difference for $200
