    I have two pallets of 60 pound bags of concrete sitting in my driveway. (i’m not stupid, I had it delivered!) We’ve got an electric mixer and we’re going to pour the shit two bags at a time, starting 8 AM tomorrow. But we are saving a lot of money doing it this way. Me and my brother-in-law, possibly his nephew are going to kick it’s ass. Just a 16 x 9‘ concrete slab. I’ve got it dug out with 3 inches of base packed in, formed and ready to pour.

    My brother-in-law with the mask because he has asthma and his daughters boyfriend.

    waiting for it to get a little more dry so I can do the finish. I’ve only done maybe 4 x 4‘ patches. This is my biggest concrete project. So it’s a learning experience with a definite curve.
    So far I’ve ran the 2 x 4 to get it level and did a basic finish with the trowel. I’m going to hit it with the finishing trowel when I’m done. Cross my fingers LOL
